The added bonus for me is that our apartment is in a small complex in a flat area of Puerto del Carmen. As I have issues with walking It is ideal for my needs

Perfect location in small complex of self-contained apartments. Own terrace/garden area within lovely tropical gardens. There is a pool area and sunbathing terrace Two sets of garden table and chairs. All ground level flat walk, one minute to main Avenida. No need for a car as public transport very close by but if you wish to explore this beautiful island a car hire company is also very close as are tour companies Housekeeper available for any requirements Cots, high chairs etc can be obtained at a small charge

Lovely apartment in excellent location

We had a fantastic time staying in this apartment. It is in an excellent location, a level walk to the bars and restaurants of the main beach road in Puerto del Carmen, but as it's not too close to some of the noisier bars, it's also really quiet. It's a level walk to the beaches if you turn left or right on the beach road.

The apartment is spotlessly clean and everything was well-maintained. There's a tv and DVD player (we didn't use them, because we were out every evening!), and lots of DVDs and books in the lounge area, with plenty of seating for a family. The spacious patio area has 2 tables and plenty of chairs, and there are also a couple of reclining loungers and a storage box with boogie boards and beach mats and some other beach and pool toys. The bedrooms are a good size with large wardrobes (one with a safe), and loads of coat hangers, always a bonus when you don't travel light! There are two hairdryers in the apartment and an iron and ironing board too. The kitchen area is very well equipped, and although we only ate breakfast in the apartment, there's everything provided to prepare a meal, and a table and chairs for eating inside if you don't want to sit out on the patio. There's a spar supermarket about 10 minutes stroll away which sells everything you need, without having to drive anywhere.

The complex itself is clean and well-maintained, and the pool area was lovely, and mostly quiet with plenty of sun beds available during our stay.

The booking was straightforward and Janet kept us informed of how to find and access the property.

We'd definitely recommend the apartment, and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Brilliant location

What a wonderful apartment!!! The location is just about perfect especially as my husband has some mobility problems. The area is absolutely flat and just steps away from the heart of everything. Three minutes walk takes you to the beach and main spar supermarket which is actually as good as having an 'Asda' on your doorstep! Janet knows just what is needed to make your stay very comfortable and a home from home experience ...everything you could possibly think of that you need is in the apartment and provided to add to your comfort. Towels are changed twice a week by lovey Linda who is always available to help with anything at all. The apartment is cleaned to a high standard in fact I couldn't do it better myself and I'm fussy!!! The beds are heaven ..just so comfortable and spacious giving us a really good nights sleep every night.. Patio furniture is brilliant .. in fact once in the reclining chairs with a G nT in hand you don't want to move they are so comfortable. Although we didn't need them there are plenty of fans about the apartment if it gets particularly hot. Janet is very friendly and helpful and the whole booking process felt very safe and secure. Thank you Janet we had a most enjoyable holiday and would certainly return here when we come to Lanzarote .again..

Lovely apartment, excellent location

We booked through the owners direct website, we had never booked a holiday this way before, it was so easy and once you make contact with the owner through the website everything just clicks into place.

The apartment is fantastic for a small family or a couple, it's got everything you need apart from maybe aircon, the Internet access can be a little slow at times too (the kids were grumbling). The apartment it literally 30 yards from the main road of PDC with a beach within 200 yards. There is also a small pool that has plenty of available beds (no towel rush in the mornings). The apartment has cable and a smart tv which we used a couple of evenings when we got a take away and watched some movies we took with us on usb sticks.

The bedding and towels are changed by Linda.

We washed our beach towels in the modern easy to use washing machine a few times.

Not sure what else to say really....other than thanks Janet we had a great time.

Marines apt 20

We had three fantastic weeks here second time in Janet,s apartment and it was like coming home.

Plenty of space, very clea, thanks Linda and hubby.

Great for getting around and lots of bars and restaurants close by.

The complex is well managed and clean. We didn't,t use the polol because of my disability but the apt is just around the corner from it so is very peaceful.. We enjoyed our stay very much and hopefully will be back another time

Lovely apartment in a great location

Myself, my husband and elderly(ish) parents have just returned from a great week in this lovely apartment. The apartment was immaculate and was very comfortable with a lovely sofa and two comfy chairs, the TV was good and there was a film channel which showed some good movies, the kitchen area was nice too and was well equipped. The pool area is nice and when we were there most days it was very quiet and peaceful. The whole complex has a nice friendly feel to it. The location is perfect. Its about a minute to the main strip with plenty of bars and restaurants right on your doorstep. The mid week towel change was much appreciated. I have used private lets before and never had this. There was some work being done in an apartment opposite but the owner Janet called us before we left to advise of this which we appreciated. The work did not cause us a problem, there was some noise but apparently the work will be completed within the next two weeks. If you are looking for comfortable, clean, peaceful apartment in a good location I would highly recommend this apartment.

Builders all around!

A word of warning, if you coming here in April or May, be aware that 4 or 5 apartments are being renovated. Cement mixer, drills, table saws, grinders and other machinery all switched on at 9am. Not recommended that you are here during the day. Quite dangerous for kids too as trailing cables and hoses all around.

Disappointed we weren't given a heads up before we arrived. Also, the cleaner just changes towels once in the week. We've done our own cleaning, emptying bins and buying toilet paper. Never had to do that before!

Outside the complex its great! Just disappointed at current surroundings as could be a really perfect spot.

Owner's Response: Warning my guests who will be arriving in May, is a serious allegation and based upon 4 days of this clients' experience and based on supposition. Two days were re-wiring and other maintenance jobs in another apartment and the second two days the equipment being used was not directly in front of our apartment but via an entrance which had been closed off – there is another entrance for families etc. to use. Until this point she had no contact with myself, my cleaner or the complex manager Unfortunately, I had not been notified of the renovations being carried in the opposite apartment would of course have warned the client if I been given notice. Regular guests who had stayed the week before made no complaint and I myself had been there the week before that. There have also been no complaints from other guests staying on the complex that week. The work is now completed apart from some minor final embellishments. There is no further refurbishment being planned in the near future. This client has e-mailed me on her return that she is considering returning later in the year saying that “hopefully will be back later in the year, will check for availability on your apartment as it was lovely” so the above review is very disappointing The contract that clients sign is clear regarding mid week towel changes and end of week cleaning and I did not make this clear enough in a letter I sent just before the holiday for which I have apologised. This is standard practice for people self-catering. Toilet rolls are usually provided but there is also a shop opposite the apartment
