Lovely residence of adjoined holiday houses, located in one of Salou's nicest coves, the Cala Crancs. There is a beautiful community garden with a large swimming pool. The house is for up to 7 persons and consists of 2 floors. On the first floor you will find 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the others with 2 single beds each. There is also a terrace and a bathroom. Downstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen. The spacious living/dining room has a sofa-bed. From here you can exit to the large patio which has a breathtaking view of the Cala Crancs bay. This is undoubtedly where you will spend the sunny afternoons. From the patio there is direct access down to the cove's beach, another privileged asset of this holiday house. Your relaxing beach holiday is sure to be a succes here!

Just returned from Casa Blancas and will honestly never book a package holiday ever again!! Superb accomodation and excellent help from Universal staff. The hills surrounding are hard work but worth it for the views. 5 star and worth every one of them. Will return again without doubt and would give this my highest recommendation and I have been to many places but this one has left me with the best memories! Superb!

Bed linen is included in the price and the beds will be made up for you on arrival. Towels are also included. There is one large towel and one small towel per person. All bed linen and towels will be placed in the property before you arrive. There are also blankets or duvets available in all properties. Please bear in mind that for hygiene and safety purposes we do not provide dishcloths, scourers or cleaning products.

The sound of the surf

Just spent October half term at this property with my husband and his two kids (11 and 15) and we were very impressed by it. The development is lovely almost like a little Spanish village with whitewashed houses, terracotta rooftiles, little arched walkways and mature foliage and flowers everywhere.

The house itself was very spacious downstairs with a lovely open plan kitchen/diner/longe opening onto a large balcony with that fantastic view over the sea. I could sit out there for hours day and night listening to and watching the surf! The kitchen was immaculate with very modern appliances, a good selection of utensils and pans and a breakfast bar with stools. Also a round table with four chairs as well as a large dining table and more chairs.

There is a large flat screen TV and satellite TV channels but out of about 60 channels not one was in English (not even the usual CNN News!) so we were pleased we had taken a range of DVDs with us to watch. my husband was relieved to find one channel however which showed Premiership football matches (although the commentary was in Spanish!).

Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a bathroom. It feels less spacious up there but adequate. The master bedroom has patio doors again opening onto another balcony which is the width of house, again with those sea views. The bathroom was the only disappointment - very small and in need of updating. I think it may be a problem only having one loo if more than 4 people were staying there!

The communal pool looks lovely but is not heated so not really useable in October! You would need a car really to stay here as it is quite a way from the main resort areas although there are buses. A few small shops and bars/restaurants locally but most were shut in October. A better selection of restaurants at Cambrils and Tarragona (a proper Spanish town) had a lovely old town and a wide variety of places to eat.

Only 10 minutes to Port Aventura (by car) but be aware that you have to pay for parking each day (7 euros) on top of your entrance fee unless you park outside and walk across.

Romantic Getaway

Beautiful! I had high expectations of the property before I arrived but was still surprised by the beautiful view and surroundings. The beach is a close walk and stores are quite easy to reach. Renting a car is definitely a must, although finding your way around can be tricky the first time, but it is worth your time and money to do the driving yourself.

The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The pool was available but we mostly kept to the beaches.

Word of caution: this house is not for those with physical disabilities that keep them from walking up stairs.

  • Keys can be collected between 16.00 and 19.30 (19.30 at the latest). If you are arriving after this time, you must let us know when making your booking. If you arrive after 21.00 you will be charged €95. Late arrivals are only admitted from the 18 of May 2013 until the 21 of September 2013. If there are any changes to your arrival time after making the booking, or should you be delayed on the day of arrival, you must let us know as soon as possible, and by 19.30 at the latest.
    We also inform all customers that arrivals after 00.00 will not be admitted.
