Spacious, modern, pristine apartment near many city highlights/tube station

This flat is the winner! It checked all our boxes. It's centrally located near all the action. Covent Garden, The West End Theaters, The British Museum and Soho are all within an easy 5-20 minute walk. Even better, one can take the Piccadilly tube line from Heathrow directly to Holborn Station which is an easy block and a half around the corner from the flat. Mike, the owner, was extremely punctual in communication. I knew immediately that I was working with someone reputable, professional and honest which is important when booking with a more personalized business such as vrbo. He was amenable to some minor tweaks in our bag drop-off which was so gracious of him. Our check-in was a breeze. His colleague, who I phoned upon arrival, meet us at the flat with keys and instructions. The unit was just as described but even more spacious than I expected. It was immaculate and airy. I specifically wanted a balcony for down time and we each spent some moments out there catching our breath after touring the city and for morning coffee. For being in a vibrant city it certainly was quiet in the flat. WiFi worked great and it even reached out to the balcony. Coffee filters were available for the drip coffee maker. French presses and an electric kettle were also available. Fabulous! There's an abbreviated Sainsbury and pharmacy around the corner completely stocked with anything you need. We could have easily made any sort of meal in the well appointed kitchen but with so many great restaurants close-by we didn't use it this time. Don't forget to bring little soaps and shampoos as these are understandably not provided. A short walk south on Newton and right on Great Queen Street yields some quaint restaurants and Philomena's Irish Sports bar, great for watching football, rugby or having an Irish Breakfast. As self-catering accommodations go, I would give this flat A++ and beyond 5 stars. It exceeded my expectations and made our holiday perfect. It was the perfect choice for our family of four. Great Location

Really enjoyed this 2 bed 2 bath flat. Great location near Holburn tube, restaurants, bars, a Sainsbury grocery store. We walked to Aladdin, the British Museum, and the River Thames- and took the tube to loads of other areas. Mike was easy to work with. The weather was in the low 70's so we kept the windows open for ventilation (having the balcony was great even though there was no view) - but with open windows, you get urban noise. On Saturday night., we lucked out with a thunderstorm that silenced the outside partygoers. I really needed to have downloaded the White Noise app for the other nights. All in all a great stay.

Fabulous Flat in a Central Location

My mom, brother and I stayed in the flat for 10 nights. The flat was as advertised, clean and all of the appliances are in good working order. I really enjoyed the balcony. We never heard any of the neighbors around us and hardly any street noise. There are ATMs, a Sainsbury, Pret, Boots, Holborn Station and one of my favorite pubs, The Princess Louise are all very close to the flat. We were provided with plenty of towels, two hair dryers, paper towels, dishwasher/dish washing supplies. We had plenty of tea/coffee small appliances (kettle, coffee maker, french press and tea pot). My only suggestions are to stock the cabinets with more drinking glassware and shot glasses. However, that is a personal preference and has no reflection on the quality of the flat. I would definitely stay here again.

One final note. We stayed during very warm weather in April. Opening the sliding glass door and all of the windows cooled down the flat very quickly.

Newton Street, post code WC2B 5EN. A very central location. The apartments are in the Covent Garden (WC2) area of the West End of Central London. They are 300m from the Covent Garden Piazza, and only a 5-minute walk to the British Museum, Oxford Street, China Town and Soho. There are many restaurants, cafes, clubs, bars and shops within easy walking distance. The closest Underground stations are Holborn, Tottenham Court Road and Covent Garden. The Holborn Underground station is only 100m away with a direct tube service to Heathrow Airport.
