Mature tropical gardens & the new “El Corte Ingles” Super Cor supermarket and an 8-screen cinema are on its doorstep. Upstairs consists of three bedrooms and two bathrooms: one double bedroom with TV & en-suite bathroom, one twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom sleeping three (one on a sofa bed) and one single bedroom, also a cot. A private patio area allows alfresco dining. The complex contains a large clean swimming pool & mature well-kept gardens. The complex is gated, with 24hour security and private parking. Marbella: Formerly a small typical Andalucian fishing village, this is now one of the premier tourist resorts of the world. The favourite resort of King Faid the former ruler of Saudi Arabia, Marbella has grown in size without loosing its special character. Much loved by the Jet-set and Show business people there are many parks gardens and boulevards to enjoy. Near Marbella House restaurants with the very best of Spanish and international cuisine. As you wander through the Old Town you encounter a rich heritage of Moorish and Andalucian tradition. Marbella is famous for its micro climate provided by the mountains behind the town. This keeps Marbella from getting too hot in the summer and allows a very long summer season.

Puerto Banus: The night life of Puerto Banus is legend. The bars discos and restaurants are always busy and often stay open until dawn. Some of the most exclusive fashion shops in the world are here, you don't have to buy, and you can window shop.

Things to do in Marbella & Puerto Banus: There is a very good safari park near Estepona called Selwo. It is great for the children and the adults. They have lions tigers bears camels monkeys ostriches heffalumps camels and lots more. They are all in large areas and the animals roam free with plenty of room so that their living space is reasonably close to their natural environment. The visitors are brought around in trucks like army trucks with bench seats and the drivers and helpers make it a fun event for everyone. Both adults and children love the experience.

Guestbook comments from the owner

'Hello David, Back home after one of the best weeks ever. Val's mom (aged 90 first time abroad) had such a great time. Wonderful memories for all of us. Can't thank you enough David.' John and Val.

'David we had a great time in Da Brunos as you told me we would and the best thing was the glasses shop Maruenda on the main street. We went in to your friend Sergio and we each bought regular glasses and prescription sunglasses. He did the eye test for us and our glasses were ready two days later and they were much cheaper and more fashionable than we could get at home.' Rebecca & Ken

David, We spend a lovely week in Marbella House! Nice house, quiet environment, nice Town, long beach, nice food, …. We also rent a Car and visited Ronda, Gibraltar and the suburbs of Marbella. Jan Van Den Neste

It was difficult to regulate the temp in the shower. There is a shortage of water in the south of Spain. It takes a lot of fossil fuel to turn sea water into drinking water. To do your part in saving the planet, consider taking a ''California Shower'' That is shower to get wet, turn off the water and put on your shampoo or shower gel. Wash yourself all over then on with the water to rinse off.

Spacious, well eqipped, good location

  • 4 of 5

Spacious, clean and conveniently situated for everything we wanted for a car free early sunshine family break. The apartment has everything as described in the overview - even beach towels - a huge plus when restricted baggage allowances. Even made use of the shopping trolley to stock up from our favoured supermarket 20 mins walk westwards - SuperSol (only because it stocks 'real' beers like Speckled Hen)!!. Inside the complex it is a peaceful haven and made for a totally relaxing holiday and taking breakfast and lunch al fresco on the lovely patio each day was perfect. Excellent Wifi included. Our only slight negative was the tightness of space around the foot of the master bed, but this is unfortunately a constraint of the original design of the building. Having said that, we stayed with our two teenage daughters who chose to share the spacious twin room which also comes with an en-suite. The plus is if not using the single bedroom, you basically can have a master suite complete with oodles of wardrobe space and dressing room as it all shuts off from the rest of the upper floor - total privacy for Mum and Dad. The small balcony from the single bedroom also doubles as a great spot to have a morning coffee in the sun, or glass of wine whilst enjoying the view through the beautiful gardens to the sea. Restaurants we particularly enjoyed were The Broadwalk - great food, service and unobtrusive live singer nightly situated a few minutes down the broadwalk and El Sombrero opposite on beach level - great for freshly BBQ'd fish/meats etc. David was extremely prompt in answering our few questions when booking, gave us a call after arrival to check all OK and responded instantly when we found we had a technical problem with no hot water one evening - he got a man there the next morning and it was fixed. Great customer service - thank you David. Would re-visit.

Very NICE Family vacation at Marbella House

  • 4 of 5

We spent 2 weeks at Marbella House and really enjoyed our stay. This apartment sleeps 6 comfortably, we were 7 and it was "tight". The downstairs living /dining room was fine. ++ for the gated/security complex, the 'backyard pool', the beach, the location. The apartment is clean, wifi, tv, and kitchen is nicely equipped. A/C this year was also a ++. David was very helpful and answered all our questions - excellent customer service. The patio was lovely with flowers in bloom. Must say the gardens around the complex are nicely taken care of. The morning and early afternoon sun dried towels quickly and the evening shade was greatly appreciated. Our 2 weeks went by way too fast - may just have to go back : ) !

Owner's Response: Thank you for your lovely review. I love the apartment myself. I will be going there again soon and you have reminded me of some of its lovely features. I can't wait to get into that pool and have lunch in the beach restaurants under the promenade, and breakfast in Cafe Ronda On the corner of Marbella House.

Excellent location, great amenities, very clean

  • 5 of 5

Lovely 3 bedroomed apartment. very clean, superb location near to beech and the main Marbella promenade. Everything you could possibly need is in the apartment with excellent wifi included. The pool is just outside the back door. I went with four 17yr olds and location was ideal for getting themselves out and back. Would suit family with small children also as very secure gated community. The owner is very communicative and helpful. Will definitely go back again.

Another wonderful stay!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here last year & it was truly perfect for a relaxing week away. The setting is just beautiful. The Apartment was exactly what was advertised and everything worked as it should, we enjoyed the use of the new Smart TV in the evenings.

If we needed any help with anything David was only a phone call away.

The apartment is situated in a pleasant area of Marbella, 5 mins away from the promenade/beach & a 10 minute walk from Orange Square. There are very nice restaurants and large supermarkets in close proximity to the apartment.

I would recommend Cafe Rhonda for breakfast!

I also stayed in David's Apartment in Puerto Banus 3/4 years ago & was equally as satisfied!

We look forward to staying again.

From a happy holiday maker!!

Good location with some problems...

  • 2 of 5

- Good position close to beach, restaurant, shops and city center

- Well equipped kitchen

- We stayed there in winter over Christmas and New Year. So the outside temperature was around 15 deg Celsius

during the day and 5 deg during night.

Unfortunately 2 of the 3 heatings did NOT work. We informed owner a couple of times and he promised to

send a mechanic. Disappointingly no one was coming until the end of our stay.

So we had to have breakfast with pullover and anorak. We were not amused.

So if you go there in summer and the air-condition or refrigerator gets damaged don't expect to

get it repaired by someone....

- The parking place is very, very narrow. Fortunately the neighbor (car) was not there at that time.

Calculate 10 extra minutes for shunting your car back and forth until final park position.

Be sure you rented a car with roof window to be able to climb in and out....

- The ground plan of the apartment is "unusual". One of the rooms is placed in a kind of hollow.

Its presumably meant for small childrens. To get there you have to climb over (!) a bed.

We never used that room.

- stairs to upper level are nice marble but very slippery. My wife broke a rib on wet stair.

Owner's Response: I was very disappointed to read this review. I note that there were 15 emails from you before your arrival including this one on arrival.... Hi David, we arrived successfully in Marbella at your apartment. Everything seems to be fine so far except one thing: Because the outside temperature is about 14-15 deg Celsius we need some heating support. In the bedroom with the double bed is seems to work. However at the ground floor the heating does not work. No fan can be heard. We tried to set up the device according to your written instructions but it is still not working.Have a look at the attached snapshot of the display: Dear Guest, Unusually for me I was away for Christmas myself. I spoke to the lady who minds the apartments and she said the heating was working but you have to wait for it to take effect. The parking in the garage is the normal parking in Spain. I park there in August when there is only one space available. You had two spaces to park in. The developers had a vision that every apartment should have its own swimming pool. This was not a good idea and almost every private pool in Marbella House has been filled in by owners. The slightly unusual alcove in the Master Bedroom can be described as a design feature. It is caused by the pool footprint in the apartment above. It is an ideal area for leaving a cot for a small child or for storing empty suitcases. I know we spoke on the telephone after your arrival but i cannot see any more emails from you. I would welcome an opportunity to talk to you again. Regards, David
