Our comfortably furnished holiday home with a beach chair is located on
at the end of a cul-de-sac, approx. 250 m behind the dike. The apartment has a cozy living-dining room with satellite TV, 3 bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a lawn next to your own terrace. A washing machine is in the house. For children there is a playground nearby with a sandpit and swing etc. A parking space for your car is available as well as storage facilities for bicycles.

Specials: Well-developed bike paths, covered children's play house 'beach oasis. Boat trips to the offshore islands of Baltrum, Langeoog and Norderney as well as fishing trips and mudflats.

In the immediate vicinity: sea water swimming pool in Dornumersiel, go-kart track in Westerholt, golf course in Wiesmoor.

Mehr Schein als Sein

Etwas ungepflegt und nicht sehr sauber. Aus den Terrassenfugen wächst munter das Unkraut, der Schirm steht in einem unaufgeräumten Gartenhäuschen mit platten Fahrrädern und Paketen, kaum zu erreichen. Der Strandkorb ist verfault, schimmelig und dient als Spinnen und Mottenbunker. Schutz vor Regen gibt es auch nicht. Auch drinnen fehlt es an so Einigem. Gardinchen und Kissenbezüge wohl schon ewig nicht gewaschen, Platzdeckchen oder eine Decke für ein gemütliches Essen "Daheim" fehlen gänzlich. Das Schlimmste aber - kein Netz! Nicht mal Telefon, wenn du mal den Notarzt brauchen solltest, hast du dort verloren!!!

Schönes Häuschen

Das Häuschen war schön ruhig, sauber und funktional eingerichtet. Das einzige was wirklich gefehlt hat war der Handy Empfang. Wir konnten nicht telefonieren oder z.B. mal nach Ausflugszielen recherchieren. Wir haben die Zeit gegossen und werden bestimmt wieder kommen :-)

Auf der Bestätigung stand eine falsche Hausnummer, nämlich die Nummer 8.Laut google maps hätten wir dort einen großen Garten gehabt. Bei der angegebenen Adresse passte der Schlüssel nicht,so mussten wir zur Hausverwaltung zurück. Es war also Nr. 9. Der Garten war dort viel, viel kleiner. Das Haus trotzdem sehr schön, aber wir hatten uns nun etwas anderes vorgestellt. An einem Tag standen auf einmal Handwerker vor der Tür, und wir wurden als Gäste vorher nicht informiert. Das geht so nicht. Sie hätten sogar einen Schlüssel gehabt um rein zu kommen. Da hätten wir uns einfach vorab eine Info gewünscht. Wie gesagt, Haus sonst schön, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt

wir haben die zeit genossen

Bei weitaus besserem Wetter als vorhergesagt , haben wir vier Tage dort verbracht. Das Einchecken klappte probelmlos ( wir konnten sogar einige Stunden früher ins Haus). Das Häuschen war niedlich klein und sauber. Lediglich der "Garten" und die Holzhütte darin waren ziemlich "wild".

Süße Unterkunft - ruhige Lage

Das kleine Häuschen war wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Sauber und sehr gepflegt! Wäre schön gewesen wenn der Strandkorb nutzbar gewesen wäre - aber er war leider noch im Winterschlaf in der Gartenhütte eingemottet. Uns Mädels war das zu schwer - also haben wir nur die Gartenmöbel genutzt. Das einzige wirkliche Manko: kein Mobilfunk-/Internetempfang (Vodafone und O2-Netz). Digital detox ist ja mal ganz nett, aber wir konnten beispielsweise auch unsere Musik auf dem Handy über die mitgebrachte Sonos-Box nicht abspielen. WLAN wäre schon echt eine enorme Qualitätssteigerung!! 😃 Bettwäsche/Handtücher/Küchentücher hatten wir um Kosten zu sparen selbst mitgebracht. Ansonsten super netter Kontakt mit dem Vermieter sowie der Verwalterin (die in der Nachbarschaft wohnt). Alles prima!!! 👍 Der fehlende Backofen ist nicht schlimm, da es einen Toaster gibt und der EDEKA fußläuig gut erreichbar ist. Der kleine Edeka mit Bäcker hatte übrigens auch an den Osterfeiertagen immer bis 12 Uhr geöffnet. Filterkaffeemaschine & Nespressokapselmaschine, Wasserkocher und Mikrowelle (..) vorhanden. Restaurants/Café im Ort waren gut. Einen Fahrradverleih gibt’s direkt ums Eck.
