Calm and troublefree stay in a beautiful property

Really lovely and roomy place to stay. Multiple spaces to enjoy the sunshine and also to escape it if needed. Very beautiful garden and a big square pool perfect to cool off in (no deep end). Everything spotlessly clean. Well equipped. Wifi worked throughout the house and even down in the garden by the pool. TV aerial connection a bit loose and needed bit of careful taping up to ensure signal. Nothing was too much trouble for Tommy and Ulla who are great hosts and were always on hand for any issues. Air con in one bedroom was a bit noisy but i am sure will be attended to when local repairmen get back from holidays. Nice quiet area. Car definitely needed for eating out and shopping. There is a well stocked shop about 2 km away, adjacent to the petrol station where you can get bread, milk, etc. So that can be reached in about 20 minute walk. Tommy brought us beautiful fresh figs which tasted amazing. The location is really good as not more than 15 to 20 minutes drive from the best local and picturesque towns, all of which have many excellebt restaurants. Highly recommended for a restful vacation surrounded by peace and extensive olive groves and many many trulli!

Friends on holiday

Had a lovely stay at villa Calma. The location was perfect for visiting the area by car. Ulla and Tommy were perfect hosts,there if needed but gave us are privacy. Tommy brought round his famous Tiramisu, it was lovely. All in all a great holiday.

Beautiful Property, wonderful hosts

Had a fabulous 2week break at Villa Calma, we were welcomed late at night by Tommy and Ulla and also greeted by their friends the following day to assist/translate WiFi and other house amenities. We where welcomed with fresh fruit and fizz and Tommy prepared a Tiramisu in week 2. Beautiful pool and outdoor areas, even better than the pictures show. Very well equipped kitchen and home Villa is located 10mins in various directions to beautiful villages and only 20mins to ostunj Lovely friendly and helpful couple, would recommend this place for a restful stay in easy reach of pretty towns and villages

Wonderful house and hosts

A great generous sized villa with sparkling pool and very well equipped. Not far from supermarkets -around 10 min drive, although there is a convenient mini market within walking distance. Good base for exploring nearby sights and beaches. Ulla and Thom were excellent hosts and quick to respond to any questions.

Great villa with swimming pool to discover the Valle d'Itria

As a group of four adults and two children, we rented Villa Calma for two weeks. We had a lovely stay, making the most of the swimming pool during the day and visiting all the wonderful villages and cities of the area at night or having a nice BBQ when the heat cooled down. Only comments would be quality of the wifi which was not working at all the first days of our arrival due to the heat that damaged the antenna (Ursula and Tom made sure to resolve it ASAP) but even once repared it remained quite low or off due to the remote area.. The house has no children beds but Ursula was kind enough to provide us with a children chair.
