A lovely one bedroom poolside apartment in a small fully private gated complex

This is a very very private apartment complex set in plush surroundings with fantastic views of Alvor Harbour and the nearby beach.

Just 48 apartments have been built here and the complex has an outdoor pool and an immaculately maintained sun-terrace. The complex is secure (swipe card access) and it will appeal to those who seek a quiet, relaxing & romantic holiday.

This large bright apartment has wonderful patio views and is situated poolside at ground level.

It has an air-conditioned / heated lounge and bedroom.

The large kitchen consists of a granite breakfast bar, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, gas hob, electric oven, toaster etc.

Dining area seats 4 persons.

The Bathroom has a power shower / bath and bidet.

Lounge consists of one large sofa,Roll down Sofa Bed, Local Cable TV to include 6 Movie Channels, Stereo, DVD and CD Player. We have supplied an external medIa box with 600 movies and a large selection of music.The patio consists of a large mosiac table, 4 chairs, 2easy chairs and a further two loungers poolside.

Unlimited wifi is provided within the apartment

If you are a newcomer to Portugal it is recommended that you take a day or so to unwind and explore Alvor. Upon booking this apartment transfers can be arranged through us from Faro airport direct to the apartment regardless of flight time arrival. This service costs 65 Euro (approx) each way. Perfect

This apartment has everything that you could possibly need, from the moment we arrived it felt like home. It is as the description says as well as the photographs in fact it even better. From booking to leaving everything was very professional, Clive thank you for the recommendations. The location is the best in Alvor no need to drive, walk across to harbour or straight into the town but still very quite day & evening. We Spent relaxing hours around the lovely pool with your own sun beds & brolly, couldn't have asked for more. Trina and Gary who look after the apartment were very friendly & accommodating. First time in Alvor I can't say how highly I'd recommend it, it has everything for all different groups. We were sorry to leave and would Absolutely return to this apartment & Alvor

Lovely apartment

This lovely apartment was perfectly situated, very comfortable and well-maintained with everything you could possibly need for your holiday.

The pool was excellent. There was plenty of room round the poolside, with comfortable loungers and we saw the sun all day.

Gary, who looks after the apartment, was most helpful, on the odd occasion that we contacted him, he got back to us straight away. He arranged our airport transfers perfectly.

We loved Alvor, the beach, fantastic restaurants and such friendly people everywhere. We were also pleasantly surprised at how far our Euros went!

It was a pleasure to deal with Clive and Pamela, the owners- who also contacted us without delay from the outset.

We had a fantastic holiday and would certainly stay at this apartment again.

Best location in Alvor

First of all, in my opinion this is the best location in Alvor, right by the harbour, right by the town and a short walk to the beach.

The grounds and pool area are nicely planted, well laid out and kept very clean and tidy.

The complex is gated, with key access only, and the apartment itself is very secure, with solid steel shutters to the windows and patio doors.

The apartment is pretty much as described, the kitchen is very well equipped with every appliance you could possibly want.

The lounge area is well furnished, and although we didn't use any, is equipped with and extensive range of AV equipment, pus free reliable wi-fi.

There were a few small things which spoilt an otherwise very nice apartment.

Some of the tiling, particularly in the bathroom, looked a little the worse for wear, as did some of the floor tiles. There was a rather odd arrangement in the bedroom. A large free-standing headboard leans against the wall, covering one of the light switches, so that if you leaned against it, it would switch the light off or on!

It also covered any electrical sockets, so there was only one available in a corner.

The water heater proved a little temperamental, cutting out in the middle of a shower a couple of times, and we never really got to grips with the air-conditioning, though when we were there we didn't really need it very much.

The biggest disappointment for us, was the lack of any really comfortable lounger style seating on the patio, but all these gripes are fairly minor.

Would I stay there again? If I was to go back to Alvor, I would definitely try to book an apartment in Clube Alvor Ria, and depending on what else was available, would consider this one again.

Alvor is a small coastal fishing village that oozes charm. People return here time and time again to enjoy the easy way of life and to sample the local Algarvian Fare in the many restaurants. Or you may choose to stroll through the picturesque streets window shopping, listening to the musicians in the town square or enjoy a drink in any of the several bars.

The Algarve has the most photographed beaches in the world and is also famous for its many championship Golf Courses. A day trip to Slide and Splash, Aqualand, ZooMarine or a Jeep Safari can all be organised from Cats in the town centre. There is a local Sports Centre with an Indoor Pool, Tennis Courts & Soccer Pitch. Praia de Rocha, famous for its night-life and casinos is a 10 minute drive away. Lagos, Silves, Loule and Sagres are all worth a visit and for the shopaholic Algarve Shopping near Albuferia is a 30 minute drive away.

  • The bedroom consists of one double and one pull out sofa bed suitable for one. The terrace/balcony has a table and four chairs, and there are two sun lounges’ surrounding the pool area and two sun lounges’ also on the terrace. An iron, ironing board and clothes horse are supplied in the apartment. Private car parking is available outside the apartment complex. A gate zapper to open the electronic gates is available with a refundable deposit of 50 Euro. The apartment must be vacated by 12 noon on departure day. Arrivals after 3 pm on change over days to allow for apt cleaning. Please note that there will be a charge of 20 Euro payable to Gary & Trina in the case of guests locking themselves out of the apartment. For guests entertainment there is a Media Player with over 650 movies and several music albums on site.
