Spend a nice holiday in the house on the sunny side in the hilly area. This wooden house is located in a quiet part of a protected area. In spring and summer listen to melodious birds singings, in the autumn watch the play of colours in mixed forests and in winter snowy hills. Place offers you a good level of comfort with five bedrooms, equipped kitchen, two toilets, and two bathrooms, one with bath tub and terrace outside. Parking place for four cars is common. On warm evenings you can sit around the outside fire, which is a very romantic experience... The house is perfect for two families with children and grandparents. Pets are allowed. We do not hide any costs out of the showed price, you see total price for your stay, except dog. For the dog you pay a small surcharge of 15 Euros.

Specials: Cervenice means „red earth“, it is typical feature there, because there was big volcanic activity in the past period and therefore had made the earth around the hill Kozakov deep red. Kozakov is world known place as habitat of precious stones, which were cuting and polishing in workshops in Turnov. Kozakov offer ideal conditions for paragliding

Quiet location, beautiful cottage

We had this cottage over the Christmas period 2013. The location is beautiful, very quiet and with a nice view across in the direction of Hrubá Skála. There are many interesting places and dramatic landscapes to visit in the local area and the towns of Turnov and Železný Brod close by offer convenient access to shops for necessities. The house itself is very spacious, well designed and is maintained in immaculate condition with high quality fittings and fixtures all of which were as described in the listing and all worked flawlessly. There is central heating (electric boiler) for the hot water and heating of the bedrooms and also a wood burner in the main lounge/kitchen which also heats radiators in the hallways and downstairs bathroom. With firewood provided and electricity included in the rental cost, you can be sure that you need never be cold, even in deep winter. The bedrooms are all a very generous size and with two bathrooms a large group can stay here in comfort. Finally the owner is a genuinely nice man who speaks excellent English, is always helpful and available if needed but who respects the privacy of the residents. A highly recommended cottage for a larger group of family or friends looking for peace and quiet in the Czech countryside.

Our stay in Bohemian Paradise

We stayed for a week with our three kids and three dogs. The house and the area were gorgeous. My kids loved the fact that the house was big enough so that they could have their own space. We spent a lot of time hiking around Bohemian Paradise and spent one day in Prague (one hour away). Mr. Vanatko was very nice and gave us a map of the area. I would highly recommend this property to those that like the outdoors and quiet.

Wir waren mit zwei Familen eine Woche vor Ostern 24 da. Bereits zwei Wochen vorab kontaktierte uns der Vermieter Pavel und gab uns Ausflugstipps und Informationen für die Ankunft. Wunderbar! Bei Ankunft hatte Pavel für uns den Ofen angeheizt und ein paar Stück Kuchen in den Kühlschrank gestellt - herrlich. Er spricht fließend Deutsch, zeigte uns das Haus und gab uns weitere Ausflugstips. Die Unterkunft entsprach genau der Beschreibung. Es ist mehr als ruhig und die Umgebung lädt quasi zum Wandern ein. Felsformationen und Burgen sowie Aussichtstürme in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir haben zweimal Prag besucht, 1h Anfahrt über die Autobahn bis zum Stadtrand (P&R!!!) völlig akzeptabel. Die Sauna haben wir 3x benutzt, Kosten für die Nutzung exklusive aber völlig angemessen (20€ pro Nutzung)! Holz für den Ofen war trocken und genügend gehackt vorrätig. Als der Abfluss im Bad (Syphon Waschbecken) nicht richtig funktionierte, habe ich ihn schnell sauber gemacht, ich denke bei Anruf (Pavel wohnt 15min weg) hätte er es auch sofort organisiert - so ging es schneller :-) Alles in allem waren wir rundum zufrieden, Preis - Leistung aus unserer Sicht völlig in Ordnung, ein liebevolles, wenn auch schon älteres Holzhaus - und auch ohne WLAN lässt es sich aushalten. Danke Paval!

Schönes Haus in schöner Gegend

Sehr schönes Haus mit vielen Möglichkeiten. (Sauna, Kamin, Tischtennis) Sehr netter Vermieter. Gegend traumhaft schön. Vermieter stellt sehr gute Ausflugstipps zur Verfügung. An der ein oder anderen Stelle könnte es etwas sauberer sein oder mal Erneuerungen vorgenommen werden. Aber uns hat das nicht gestört und wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden definitiv wiederkommen. Lieben Dank

Modern, ruim huis

We hebben als vriendengroep van 11 personen zeer genoten van de vakantie in dit huisje in het buitengebied van smrcy. Het huis is ruim, in een leuke stijl gebouwd, volledig van hout, en om het huis was ook nog eens genoeg ruimte voor 5 autos en een kampvuur. We hebben ook gebruik gemaakt van de tafeltennistafel, ook de verande heeft ons een goede dienst bewezen. De omgeving is ook mooi, al heb je daar vanuit het huisje niet echt uitzicht op. In de buurt zijn verschillende grote en kleinere supermarkten, en genoeg bezienswaardigheden. Als laatste wil ik Pavel, de huiseigenaar, bedanken voor de goede communicatie en de praktische tips die hij gaf. Voor de volgende vakantiegangers, geniet van dit huisje en de vakantie!
