Amazing piton views
We stayed x4 adults at the villa and it was just perfect. The balcony and outdoor space is great and perfect if u plan to spend time in the villa. Located high up and out of the way which is great as so peaceful and quiet but you really do need a car. The drive up from the main road to the villa was a bit nervy the first day but after a few trips up and down became more comfortable. Plenty of wonderful (but expensive ) restaurants close by with amazing views. But we struggled to find reasonable priced local food . Glenda came and cooked us a delicious breakfast everyday and a big thank you to Tamara for making our stay comfortable, there were a few hiccups during our stay but Tamara was always available to resolve. If u love rustic accommodations ( no windows, just shutters ) I would recommend this stay

Hermitage Jewel? No Hermitage Diamond
We have been fortunate to travel to many places around the world and all pale into insignificance by the side of this holiday. I have never been so sad to leave anywhere before. This was the holiday of our dreams and , to large part, this was down to the indescribable care, attention and concern of some very special people. Tamara, Glenda, Dane, Kervin we will never forget you. Thank you is totally inadequate. To the owner of this paradise, you have provided a tranquil oasis in which visitors can relax. This is not a place to be missed. Written with tears in my eyes.

A little piece of paradise
This is the most idyllic and peaceful place for a holiday. The views from the villa are beautiful beyond words. Sunrise and sunset are particularly special times. Breakfast made by Glenda is wonderful and Eddie and Dwayne do a great job of looking after the lovely pool and gorgeous garden. Tamara and Cletus made all our arrangements easy and worry free and we can certainly recommend one of Tamara’s meals. We will certainly plan on going back. Thank you Linda for sharing your home.

Best trip ever
We just returned from a week at the Hermitage Jewel and can't believe how wonderful it was in every way. The pictures don't begin to do it justice. The views and setting were among the most beautiful we have ever seen, and the design and architecture of the villa only enhanced them. We are a family of five (10, 13 and 15 year old kids) and there was more than enough room and we were incredibly comfortable and happy. Dian was amazing and helped us every step of the way - from planning before the trip, to making reservations and suggestions, to the sweetest send off and e-mail after we left. We asked her a million and one questions, and she always welcomed them and helped. Glenda's breakfasts every morning were delicious and a delight and we loved the surprise of which fresh juice and fruits we would have, plus fresh bread, omelets, the works. She took wonderful care of us and was so warm and kind, and the dinners she and Diamiana made us were delicious and plentiful. Neverweary was wonderful and a wealth of information, and we loved hearing him sing at Fond Doux. Vincent and Eddie made us feel welcome each time we saw them as well. The views and sounds from every part of the villa were amazing, and we loved the open air plan, with the birds and chameleons joining us. The kids had fun exploring the garden and picking lemons, coconuts and bananas. We loved relaxing at the villa, but also driving to explore, Tree Top for zip-lining, Anse Chastenet for snorkeling, Mango Tree for meals and the pool, hiking the Gros Piton, swimming beneath Taraille Waterfall, volcanic mud at the sulphur springs, the beach at Marigot Bay, the buffet and show at Hotel Chocolat, Neverweary's band for dinner at Fond Doux, and dinner and music at Ladera. It was our best trip ever, and we can't say enough about the Hermitage Jewel.

Paradise on Earth!
My husband and I had the most amazing stay at Hermitage Jewel! The hospitality shown by Tamara, her husband Cletus, and Vee the daily housekeeper was 5 stars and the best we have ever been treated while traveling. You feel like family instantly. Cletus met us at the airport to drive us to villa and literally greeted us with open arms. After a long day of travel we opted to purchase the in house villa dinner made by Tamara and it was delicious! We highly recommend this wonderful service. The villa is spectacular and the views are unmatched. The sunsets are beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and the pool was always refreshing. The daily breakfast provided by Vee and Tamara were always delicious and the perfect way to start the day. Tamara went above and beyond getting a jeep rental delivered to the villa for us as well as set up a wonderful boat day. Tamara amd her husband also made sure we had a great day at Sugar Beach and we couldn't be more thankful. Tamara answered all my questions before we arrived and while we were there. She also checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. If I could give 100 stars I would! Thank you all for everything!
