Very beautiful, bright apartment in the 4th floor with view of Schöneberg and the greenery. You enter the apartment via a lavish hallway with cloakroom. The apartment with cable (Flat screen) TV, DVD-Player, stereo, internet and telephone (both with unlimited use) has a dining table for 6 persons, a comfortable sofa bed as well as a book case with information on Berlin and light fiction for rainy days. There is a seating corner with sun umbrella on the southern balcony. There is a cozy, lavish bedroom with double bed and large cupboard as well as a small bedroom with a comfortable sofa bed and 2 wardrobes. The kitchen with breakfast counter is fully equipped with dishwasher, cooking range with fume hood, baking oven, refrigerator, coffee machine, electric kettle and toaster. Crockery and cutlery as well as cooking utensils are available. The bathroom has a shower, a big wash basin, a mirrored cabinet and blow dryer. Parking space optional 5 €/night. Bed linnen and towels optional 20 €/person.

Additional Information : In spite of its central location, there are rambling parks for strolling, jogging and walking in the immediate vicinity. The summer open-air swimming pool at the Insulaner Park is within walking distance. You can also visit one of Berlin's planetarium here and learn all about Berlin's starry skies through a presentation.

Definitely recommended - very good experience

This is a spacious and light apartment in a quiet block, good neighbourhood, six minutes walk to the S-Bahn, and opposite a handy supermarket. It is well equipped, with an abundance of crockery and, during this very cold weather, welcomingly warm. The apartment was almost as advertised, though there wasn't an ironing board (but there was an iron), nor was there the advertised mirrored cabinet in the bathroom (so storage was a little limited), and internet speed was on the slow side. A house-manual, with information about rubbish disposal, and instructions for the washing machine, etc., would have been helpful. Just to note that the apartment's advertised facilities make clear there there isn't a freezer, so don't expect one. And the apartment is on the fifth floor, with no lift (but it kept us healthy!). Other than these very minor issues, it's an ideal base, and we would be very happy to rent it again.

Lovely stay!

Stayed for three nights with a friend while we ran the Berlin marathon. Lovely apartment, very clean, had breakfast on the balcony sat in the sun, fab location just five mins walk from the train station to get to the hustle of Berlin within 20 ish mins. Many thanks, Jane and Julie

Great apartment

A very comfortable apartment (once you've climbed the 5 flights of stairs!) well equipped and with plenty of room for four adults. Ute was friendly and helpful, and the Lidl just across the road was much appreciated! Reasonable transport links to the City centre but far enough out of town not to be be surrounded by other tourists. Highly recommended.
