Nestled in the hills between Newrybar and Bangalow, this self contained cosy and private studio is wrapped by stunning views from the private balcony over the hinterland, and surrounded by a macadamia orchard in a tranquil, peaceful setting.

A great night's sleep is ensured by a comfortable queen bed and heavy curtains on the windows. Kitchenette with tea/coffee making facilities (Nespresso machine). Continental breakfast items provided (local muesli etc.). TV and DVD player. Ceiling fan and Split Cycle Air conditioning. Bathroom with toilet and shower. Outdoor hot&cold shower under the stars. Perfect for a romantic getaway for couples or solo travellers wanting to get away and experience a relaxing stay in nature.

Large deck for relaxing and enjoying the magnificent sunsets, especially in the winter months, with an outdoor shower and Finnish sauna.

Close to Bangalow with elegant federation buildings, parks and Bangalow's many cafes and restaurants, as well as galleries and boutiques.

A short drive to Byron Bay and many local pristine beaches, waterfalls, national parks, shops as well as restaurants and cafes, including our local award winning Harvest Cafe & Deli in Newrybar. Newrybar is a popular little village nestled in the hills between Bangalow and Ballina, and famous for its 100 year old refurbished bakery, producing delicious breads and treats from its original wood oven - very popular on Saturday mornings by locals and visitors alike.

Bangalow Farmers' Market every Saturday morning, and monthly Sunday market Bangalow every 4th Sunday.

Surrounded by a rural neighbourhood growing various produce depending on the season, citrus and stone fruits, mangoes, macadamias, avocados, bananas, finger limes, pineapples, potatoes, pork, eggs, etc. Cows graze on surrounding properties.

UBER drivers are available - although own transport is recommended to enjoy your getaway as public transport is not easily accessed. (except in Bangalow for the Blues Festival).

Beyond Fabulous

The hosts were wonderfully hospitable, the studio was perfectly suitable for our stay (we very much appreciated the snacks), but the most impressive point of this whole stay is the view off of the back porch. As with all of the Byron Bay/Bangalow area, the views were show beautiful. And to be in the middle of a macadamia plantation was very special. We needful place. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!

We wish we had more time here. The location is convenient and easy to find. The views are stunning. The best part was the sauna! The studio is comfortable, beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Thanks Perri for having us and for being such a great host.

Romantic Getaway

We had a beautiful weekend away in the gorgeous studio apartment nestled in a picturesque macadamia orchard. The studio was lovingly and thoughtfully fitted with everything we needed. It was wonderful to explore Newrybar and Bangalow, but we equally enjoyed strolling through the orchard. We will definitely be back. Thank you Perri and Tim.

We love travelling yet always love getting back home - truly appreciate living amongst nature and tending to our thousands of macadamia trees.

What makes this property unique

We built our house in 2016-17 although have been living on the property for almost 20 years. This is a working farm with thousands of macadamia trees, and our neighbours are other macadamia farmers or primary producers/hobby farmers. Surrounded by green trees, nature and lovely views.
