About this property

Our 2024 rental season starts in May and runs through the first week of Oct. We book on a Saturday-to-Saturday basis. We are now accepting reservations for 2024.
Only the following week is currently available for '24. If you don't see a week listed, it's probably because it's being booked but one of our many repeat visitors.

We are a Vrbo “Premier Host". This means a quick response, COVID procedure followed, and excellent post-stay reviews from renters. Max occupancy is 3, but we find the comfort level works best with just two.
Exciting news for our renters. We've replaced the living room sofa with a brand new leather Barcalounger sofa with two reclining sections. Now you can lay back and enjoy the new 43" TV that has built-in Roku and includes free HBOMax, Hulu, and Peacock streaming services. Bring your oasswords to use and watch Netflix, Apple TV, Disney+, and Prime. See the pictures I've updated to show these improvements. Just added for the 2022 season is a new coffee station that will brew a 12-cup pot or a single K-Cup of your favorite flavor from home.

Rehoboth Beach is now officially the beach home of President Joe Biden and his family. We've seen him around town several times before he became President, so you'll never know what to expect.

We enforce a strict non-smoking policy on the premises, including the lawn area. Failure to comply can cause you to be asked to leave and loss of rental payment.
The cottage is located just two blocks from Rehoboth Ave and 2 1/2 blocks from the beach and boardwalk in South Rehoboth.. Close to everything, yet located in a quiet backyard setting. Set back from the main house with its' own parking for two cars. Master has a queen bed and the loft (must pass through this to get into Master) has a double bed. Enclosed porch with view of bamboo forest just outside. The bathroom (downstairs) has a shower only. Outside shower for those returning from the beach. Perfect getaway away for two adults, with a maximum occupancy of three. Pet allowed (we love ours too) with an additional $200 non-refundable payment (please check that off when booking). If you have more than one dog, we need to talk before you book.
Extended cable package and wireless Wifi included. 43' flatscreen with Ruko streaming downstairs and 32'upstairstairs. Both with DVD players and DVD library.
New in 2018, a newly remodeled kitchen with modern cabinets, granite countertops, a ew refrigerator, and new flooring throughout the first floor.
Note: there is no dishwasher, garbage disposal, or washer/dryer. We are a classic beach cottage in that respect. There is a laundromat nearby.
The outside area has 2 Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, clothesline, bike rack, and gas grill.
We do not charge a mandatory cleaning like other places do. We also have a valid rental license from that City, so we have been inspected for safety, cleanliness, and taxes paid.

Wonderful getaway!

This property is even better than the pictures! The owners are honest, reachable and treat the cottage as an extension of their personal home. They respect your personal space yet are approachable and are a joy to converse with. Their recommendations are spot-on and their active lifestyle allow to be in the know of current happenings!

What a great find for a totally relaxing week

This little cottage is a real gem. When we originally walked in we were surprised by how little the space is! BUT as we familiarized ourselves, there was absolutely nothing more we could have wanted or needed. Cute private yard with a picnic table and comfortable seating. A lovely open 4 season room along one side of the house. Fully stocked and impeccably clean kitchen where we easily cooked a few meals. The living room has a fantastic sofa for relaxing in front of the TV. Bathroom is small but serviceable. The bedrooms are cute and well furnished. Throughout the house are many little touches of beach living and lovely pottery made by the owner. We walked everywhere all week and the week was made perfect because we were able to share it with our puppy. Sand time, street and boardwalk socialization and lots of cuddling. Perfect Little Getaway

My wife and I have rented this beautiful little gem for 4 years in a row. It has everything we need to live quite comfortably for two weeks in the summer. It’s spotlessly clean, well maintained and has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The owners, Steve and Sandy, live next door and readily address any concerns that you may have regarding your stay there. We’d rate it 5 stars for overall satisfaction. Ed and Donna

Wonderful location, great place, photos do not do it justice

My wife and I stayed here for a week to celebrate our anniversary. We had a great stay although the weather was pretty terrible. The hosts were very friendly and helpful (we were looking for happy hour and dinner recs) and the location is amazing. Short walk to the beach, easy access to shops and restaurants. No wonder this place books up fast. Hope to come back again some time!

Best for non-seniors

This is a cute place in good location. Price is very reasonable. Hosts are accommodating and pleasant. That said, if you are older like us, this may not work for you as only bathroom is on main floor while bedroom is up a steep and narrow set of stairs.

We stayed in the cottage every weekend for close to 20 years until we remodeled the front house and now we live in it permanently. Always loved the location. The cottage has had many upgrades over the last few years, including a new kitchen and downstairs flooring.
