Craggantoul House sleeps twelve people in six double bedrooms, and has very spacious living, dining and kitchen areas, ideal for family breaks. Craggantoul House is luxuriously furnished and offers all the mod cons for the perfect break, with a romantic spiral staircase leading to the master bedroom, roaring wood burning stoves to keep our guests snug and sensational views over the loch from a private terrace. A glass fronted living room offers unbelievable views over the surrounding meadows and the loch.

The house is two hours from Glasgow and Edinburgh and is rich in history, wildlife, activities and attractions, with water sports, walking, fishing, golf courses, castles and distilleries on the doorstep!

About the Owner

We live in Scotland with our two young children and operate a holiday cottage business on the shores of Loch Tay in the Scottish Highlands and a ski chalet business in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

Our properties range in style, age and size - they range from renovated farm steadings to alpine chalets, but all have a great sense of homeliness and beautiful views, as well as lots of little luxuries to help everyone unwind and enjoy their holidays, no matter how old or young they may be!

Loch Tay is a fantastic location for holidays and there is so much to do in the area, no matter the time of the year. Craggantoul House can be reached in just two hours from Glasgow or Edinburgh, but is still tucked away from the buzz of daily life. Despite the size of the property, we have tried to create a homely feel to the house - the stoves and the large family kitchen add a cosy feel, and one cannot help being impressed by the lovely views from the glass fronted living and dining areas over the surrounding meadows and Loch Tay, which make it a very special place.

Commanding a dramatic position overlooking Loch Tay in Highland Perthshire, Craggantoul House is a luxury holiday property located within a private 40 acre Highland estate with secluded forest walks, loch frontage and fishing rights.

The views over the loch are breathtaking and our guests are free to wander the orchards and meadows down through the ancient oak forests over streams to the loch where we have fishing rights for trout. The area is rich in wildlife and guests will see the deer roam freely around the grounds and the vibrant bird life on the estate.

The house is two hours from Glasgow and Edinburgh and is rich in history, wildlife, activities and attractions, with water sports, walking, fishing, golf courses, castles and distilleries on the doorstep!

Loch Tay offers guests numerous opportunities for fishing (from our shores), climbing (we are located at the foot of the mighty Ben Lawers mountain), boating on the loch, visiting castles, distilleries, golf and all just on our doorstep! The house itself offers a spacious, homely and peaceful retreat after all of these activities, to relax at the end of the day with a well deserved glass of wine from the patio or roof terrace.
