Fantastic holidays

  • 5 of 5

We just spent two wonderful weeks at Villa Alabe and enjoyed very much

the breathtaking view over the sea. It took only a few steps from our large terrace to reach the beach. Even in high season it isn't at all crowded. Our accomodation was clean and well equipped so that we felt completely comfortable. Giancarlo was a very friendly and welcoming host and gave us lots of useful information. We would recommend to rent a car for discovering the beautiful landscape of Sardinia.

We were very happy to find at Villa Alabe a place where we could enjoy perfect holidays far away from mass tourism.

Certainly we'll come back again!

Porto Alabe Apartment

  • 5 of 5

I cannot fault anything about the wonderful apartments and helpful service provided to us during an extended stay.

The setting is absolutely perfect, apartments both spacious, well stocked, clean and comfortable.

Giancarlo is an excellent and unassuming host who is happy to help with every and any qestion or request.

If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet escape where all you hear is the lapping of the waves and smell of meat on your own private barbeque you could not get better value for money and setting.

We will be returning and look forward to some of the most beautiful sunsets available in the Mediterranean.

Thank you, thank you for a delightful experience, i will recommend to all my friends

Best Villa Ever

  • 5 of 5

Imagine arriving in the dark - not being able to speak Italian - not aware of the road we drove along, not aware of the view the villa would have.

Imagine waking up the next morning to that fantastic view what more could we want.

The villa was spotlesslessy clean and was so well equipped - only 2 of us so loads & loads of room - plenty for 4 if you didn't mind using the living space as another bedroom & sharing a bathroom.

The owner was so helpful via email and texts; we were met by a lovely gentleman, who couldn't speak English but managed to make us understand all we needed to know - he was lovely.

Quite isolated at the time of year we went (late September) - but that added to its charm - the local shop owner must have thought he'd won the lottery when we stocked up with provisions.

Only the I Cedri open in the village so had to go to Bosa to eat - but we cooked using the BBQ provided, it somehow didn't matter.

Maybe the owner could let people know that some of the restaurants he recommends aren't open out of season - we still found good ones in Bosa.

The local pecorino cheese, parma ham & wine was fantastic.

We loved it as a couple but great for families with children if they are just happy with the beach. The sea could be a bit rough but on the whole was calm, maybe a bit shelving for small kids.

Most helpful and friendly owner I've ever come across - Certainly we will go back - sooner rather than later.

THANKS!

Mac & Karen (UK)

PS - The road from Bosa to Alghero is 'Breathtaking@ !!!!

Great holiday

  • 4 of 5

We had a great hoilday in a spacious apartment in a wonderful surrounding. The only negative aspect is, that it is quite remote and a car is needed all the time.

Owner's Response: Thanks a lot for the good feedback. Actually the waterfront villa is in a small and quiet village, recommended for people looking for relax, nature and beach life. At walking distance from the apartment there are 2 bars, a food shop, a pizzeria - restaurant and an internet point. A car is anyway recommended to reach Bosa (5 km), Alghero (45 km) or other nice spots in Sardinia.

Superb s/c at Porto Alabe Sardinia.

  • 5 of 5

Our accommodation was exactly as described on the web site, and the directions were excellent. First of all the situation is amazing...out of the house, down the steps and you are on a beautiful, quiet beach...definately our kind of place! The gazebo is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the glorious sunsets. We made good use of the barbecue (all necessary materials supplied), but we found lots of good restaurants in Bosa. Salvatore was so kind to us...nothing was too much trouble and we will never forget his pomegranates! We liked the laid back atmosphere, the tranquillity and the varied walks. We would definately recommend this property to anyone who wants to get away from high rise blocks and crowded beaches. We look forward to returning soon.

In the North West Sardinia, distant only 40 km from Alghero, and only 1,5 hours drive from Olbia and Cagliari Bosa is one of the ancient Sardinian Sea capitals, and still conserve the signs of its past long splendour in the main ways and in the historical centre, rich of churches and monuments. A beautiful Lastricato course, small public squares, ancient palaces constructed in rose stone, medieval castles. The greatest treasure of Bosa is its wonderful and not contaminated coast five stars in the blue guide of Legambiente, quarter cleaner locality in Italy, with tens of beaches and a limpid and crystalline water. 5 Km in the south there is the beach where we rent the apartments. Restaurants and bars are both welcoming, well priced and offer many local and European dishes. To north the coastal zone is much immensest and the natural atmosphere is wilder. Covering the Bosa-Alghero road are numerous the beaches reachable only by car or, for adventurous, through wild paths.
