Our property is situated directly on a wide expanse of the beautiful Currumbin River looking across to a nature reserve. We offer a freshly renovated, private & fully self-contained apartment/suite that comprises the offset lower level of our home with the shared use of a swimming pool, sandy beach, jetty & the river. Paddle just 2 klm to the famous Currumbin Alley, catch a crab and fish from the jetty or just relax with a drink & enjoy the river and native bird life.

Fantastic holiday accommodation

The property was immaculate and had everything that you would require in a holiday accommodation. located in a quiet yet central area close to everything you would require with lots to see and do. Unfortunately we did not try out the amazing pool but when we come back to Australia for another stay (AND WE WILL ABSOLUTELY BE BACK) we will definitely take a swim or two. Fishing from the bottom of the jetty was brilliant when you just wanted to relax with a couple of beers .We only wish we had our very own jetty. Liz & Brett couldn't have been more helpful during our stay.

Perfect!

After travelling extensively in Queensland for over 2 weeks we just wanted to relax and chill out for our last 5 days in Australia and WOW... we couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place. Lovely location, lovely accommodation and best of all lovely hosts. Within easy reach of all that the Gold Coast has to offer this really is an idyllic location right on the river. The immaculate accommodation has everything you could possibly need to make it a home from home experience. Hosts Liz and Brett were on hand or contactable both beforehand and during our stay and gave us advice and information about the local area. We would highly recommend this excellent property. Return visit to Currumbin

Delightful private lodging, particularly for 2 people. Overlooking river and jetty, with pool and owners at arms’ length to say ‘hello’ only and help with any queries. Easy walk to beach, river, shops and breakfast/lunch spots , still beautiful area. Most enjoyable and nicely presented with good communication and ease of access.

Having grown up and lived in the USA, Malaysia, and Thailand and having travelled extensively world wide it is a joy to meet new faces of all nationalities and pass on some of our Aussie piece of paradise.

We settled on this property specifically due to its location and the fact that it is on spectacular river frontage.

What makes this property unique

To be able to walk out the back door and choose between a swim in the pool or a plunge into the river is pure pleasure. If you love to be on the river - you can fish, bird watch, paddle a surf ski/kayak, or stand-up paddle board all from our back yard. (BYO equipment or hiring facilities are just a short 10 min walk upriver). If you enjoy walking, the beach is only a flat 20 min walk with shopping, clubs and pubs all within easy walking distance.
