Stunning views, beautiful home

Gorgeous location with 20km+ views, this lovely home surpassed all our expectations. Well equipped kitchen, excellent outdoor dining area, wood fired pizza oven, BBQ, 2 comfortable living spaces - everything you need. The tranquility was wonderful, Kangaroo's in the garden each night - just an amazing place to regroup after a week of wilderness camping. We are already missing sundowners with a nice local white wine!

Best place I've been to by far

This stay in Barwite was hands down the best place I've been to for a mini holiday away. The location was so beautiful and quite and the views were incredible, to the point where I can barely put into words how devine they were. The house was immaculate, and furnished fantastically. I will most definitely stray again when I can, I rate the 10/10! So, so happy :)

Blissful retreat

We had a fabulous extended long weekend as a family of four + 2 grandparents. The house is very spacious, clean, modern & well heated. It was a great property for the kids to run around & explore & they of course enjoyed seeing the kangaroos & deer in the backyard. The view is incredible & location secluded, while not being too far from Mansfield. The host was very responsive & helpful. Overall a great place to stay.

Great location and excellent houseWill come back again (when smoke clears)

Property is excellent and host was very helpful. Was not impressed with dealing with HomeAway. Website was not very user friendly and it is the first time as a frequent high end accommodation user I have had a Bond debited on booking and potentially having to wait 6 weeks for a refund even if the owner is satisfied after our stay. We have had Credit Card bonds, but never pre paid at point of booking.

Very comfortable, spacious home with superb views

The house was beautifully furnished and very clean. We had everything we needed. It was very hot when we stayed and the air-conditioning was very effective.

We love nature, travelling, tasting wine. mountains, beach, skiing, horse riding, walking. We are active but enjoy short breaks with glass of wine and nice food in a nice surrounding. We came from Russia 20 years ago and fell in love with our new home - Australia.

Why they chose this property

After a busy week we love coming here to enjoy the Australian nature and wildlife. Bird singing is just so relaxing!!! Views are fantastic. Something to explore in all seasons. Close to wineries, Mansfield, Mt Buller. Just far enough out of town (and other activity centers) to have peace and quiet but really only a short drive! Neighbors are far away to see them but close enough not to feel isolated. It's just a paradise for us to escape.
