The view is amazing! The condo overlooks the pristine white sand beach and has a beautiful Gulf view. This second floor gulf front condo has a heated pool and a tennis court. This remodeled condo is furnished to an exceptional contemporary standard, with travertine flooring throughout, new beds, furniture and appliances (bluetooth wireless Bose box, Nespresso coffee machine, flat screens TV's in every room (65" and 32" in bedrooms) and free WiFi. The Master bedroom has a King and the Guest bedroom a Queen and XL Twin. Two bathrooms and a well furnished kitchen, washer/dryer. You may sun, relax or walk for miles...shelling is outstanding. Several golf courses are nearby. Longboat Key, a barrier isle, is nestled between Sarasota bay and the Gulf of Mexico, voted #2 in the Condé Nast Traveler 2010 Readers' Choice Awards for Top Islands in North America. Whitney Beach is located on the north end of the island.
All rooms have flatscreens TV's. In the bedrooms 32'' and in the living room 65". In the living room there is Bose Soundlink Bluetooth Mobile Speaker. You can enjoy your music wirelessly from your smarthphone, tablet, laptop or other bluetooth enabled device. Nespresso coffee machine in the kitchen, other coffee machines at your choice.
The minimum stay for our condo is 30 days or one calender month.

Condo stay for 2 months
The listing description is completely accurate. The property is modern, immaculately clean and in a very quiet condominium complex. There are 180 degree beach views and a walk out to a private sandy Gulf beach. The environment is safe and it was wonderful to sleep to the sound of the surf. Longboat Key has convenient shopping and good restaurants. There are fresh seafood stores. Tennis court on premises and nearby Municipal Golf. Occasional traffic congestion. easy ride to Sarasota airport. The best recommendation I can make is that we are going back next year Customer service was a moot point as nothing was wrong.

Great home away from home!
The description of the apartment given is absolutely correct and we can recommend renting the apartment. It has everything you need and want at a vacation home directly on the beach. It is spacious and clean and all appliances are in best order. There are beach accessories also at hand. The owners are very friendly and provide more than enough information in binders on the apartment itself and on the area. The information provided helps you find your way around very easily, if you are new to the area. In case you need help with something or you have questions there is a person you can contact that provides immediate help. We can definitly recommend this apartment and if we are back in the area, we would try and rent is again, if available.

Comfort, elegance, quality, views
This is a one of a kind condo. If you agree that less is more, North Longboat Key, Whitney Beach and this specific condo cannot be beat. The owners of this unit have thought through every detail. The unit is uncluttered, spacious, attractive and very comfortable -- from the seating to the beds to the linens. The kitchen is well stocked and very easy to work in. The owners are a pleasure to work with. We hated to leave and plan to return.

Best decision for a relaxing and inspiring holiday
What you see is truly what you get. A clean, modern, luxurious and very functional apartment with nothing left to wish for! We were 2 people but even a family of 4 can comfortably stay in this wonderful flat as space and storage is really not an issue. The flat is easy to manage and the complex is well kept and taken care of on a daily basis. There is a community pool with sun chairs available for use, sun chairs are also disposable on the beach for those who prefer open water. Beach access is right in front of the flat and the beach is wide and lovely to spend time at with mind boggling sunsets. The living room is spacious and the entertainment system (TV) very modern. What we liked was the iPod docking station, a small but nice detail. The windows are screened so you can enjoy the fresh sea breeze and hear the waves rolling onto the beach. The kitchen is very modern and well equipped, if you are a Nespresso lover there is a machine but it might be a good idea to bring your own capsules as we could not find a store in LBK or Sarasota which sold them. The master bedroom has its own TV and small walk-in closet as well as bathroom. The twin bedroom is very spacious with wide beds and closet space all along the wall. The "office corner" and washing machine tower is discreetly located in the twin bedroom, as well as another bathroom and toilet. There is extra storage space for beach equipment and toys if needed just outside the flat which we found convenient due to the sand that we did not want to keep sweeping from the floor. We did not use the tennis court or BBQ area as we were quite active throughout our stay and enjoyed the beach and pool more but both seemed well maintained. The BBQ area is not covered, there is a hut with a table where you can eat but the pit itself stands freely and is a charcoal BBQ. We will definitely try and stay here again if we come back and the flat is available and can truly recommend this property to anyone who enjoys a modern beach experience with an unforgettable view and especially sunset.

We live and work in the Netherlans. In our sparetime we love to go walking, invite friends for a nice diner or visit one of the many Museums in Amsterdam. Amsterdam packs tons of variety into a fairly small space so there is always a lot to do. Amsterdam’s Canal Ring, the bridges, barges and bicycles set a typical Amsterdam scène. We love to work and live here but Longboat Key is our favorite place for a relaxing vacation.

Why they chose this property

Theo visited Longboat Key 25 years ago and he thought at that time, this is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen and here is where I want to buy a condo when it is possible. His dream came truth. We updated this Gulffront condo to an European modern style and are very happy with it.

What makes this property unique

First class accommodation that is ideally located for a very relaxing vacation. Private beach, wheather, friendly people, first class restaurants and nature of Longboat Key. This kind of nature and beaches you do not find in Europa and that makes this an unique place.
