Stunning beach house retreat

We had a very relaxing week at this property. There is such a wonderful use of space - from the placement of rooms, windows to the lighting, and even the kitchen drawers - it must have been designed by a talented architect and thoughtful owners. It really is a pleasure to be in, private and light with gorgeous views. The only drawback is the floorboards which are made of wood that is so sensitive it can’t withstand drops of water. We spent a lot of the week wiping up drips from the pool or the cooking, seems a crazy choice for a beach house (we have beautiful floors at home made of much more resilient wood). Overall though, it is a delightful place to stay. Thank you for letting us visit.

A very private retreat away from the hustle

This home has been been thoughtfully designed and is a leafy green private retreat away from the hustle of coastal peak season crowds. We thoroughly enjoyed the array of indoor plants, a well equipped kitchen and an interesting collection of books which have inspired the owners when designing this lovely home. The tonal interior completely relaxes you together with the wabi sabi touches and ageing timber. Every room has louvres allowing for beautiful ventilation of sea breezes. We enjoyed taking our poodles to the nearby “off-leash” doggie beach every day. Our adult offspring appreciated the seperate downstairs living areas and family competitiveness flourished in the ping-pong room! Our family holiday was absolutely beautiful staying in this much loved cared for family home.
