About Kevin or Ann Quinn

We love living here, so much so that 11 years we came on holiday , fell in love with the villa and stayed. I love the tranquility of the country side that inspired me to write MONOPOEMS my first book of poetry.

Why Kevin or Ann Quinn chose Beziers area

Our villa is a very spacious bright warm and inviting home. Our clients are pleasantly surprised at how spacious the villa and grounds are.

What makes this villa unique

The villa is nestled close to a historical beautiful chateau and village surrounded by vinyards with many Domains welcoming visitors for tasting. However if you just want to relax by the pool and bbq area or sit in a shady spot to read a book there is ample room for both.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Dear Ann and Kevin.

First of all I'm sorry I haven't gotten around to reviewing our holiday yet. But better late than never.

We had a wonderful time. The house is so nice to live in and we really felt at home there. Kevin was always very kind to help us out if we had any questions or needed any help.

The garden with the pool area was used all The Time due to the very hot weather.

All in all we all enjoyed ourselves so much and we would definitely rent The house again.

We can only recommend others to stay there.

Ann and Kevin, I wish You all The Best, and a very happy New Year.

(Sorry we couldn't get the review request link on homeaway to work)

Best regards,

Roujan holiday

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed the spaciousness of the house and, given how hot it was during our stay, the garden with plenty of spots to sit in the shade was especially welcome. We had three young grandchildren with us who spent time every day in the superb pool where the youngest, who began as a non-swimmer, within two days swam a length of the pool. When not in the pool the table tennis was very popular. The setting is remarkable with the terrace overlooking an expanse of garden with the village and chateau just the other side of a strip of woodland. The gardens are beautifully planted. The attractions of the house and gardens meant that we made limited forays into the surrounding areas but, we have visited the area before and enjoyed going to Pezenas to re-visit it's narrow cobbled streets, cafes and restaurants.

Kevin and Ann were extremely welcoming and helpful which made it altogether an enormously enjoyable stay.

A return visit that did not disappoint

  • 5 of 5

This trip was a first for our family - returning to the same location as the previous year, something we've never done before. The area has so much to offer and we found re-visited some old favourites (Carcassone, Vias Plage, Aigues-Mortes, Pezanas) as well as discovering some new highlights - the ancient town of Minerve and Beziers). The whole family had a wonderful time and the villa was just as good as we remembered. We all enjoyed the wonderful pool again (even my Dad was seen jumping in!) and even with 9 of us in the house there was still plenty of room for us all. Kevin and Ann were on hand to help us settle in and answer any questions during our stay and made us feel more-than-welcome. The property is very much as listed but the scale of the gardens is underplayed and really enables you to feel relaxed. We took some wonderful sunset photos out on the lane at the side of the property with the chateau in view and these will be a fantastic memento of a wonderful stay. We hope to visit again perhaps in a few years as we love this area of France and we love this house!

A property with great character

  • 4 of 5

We have just returned from a brilliant 2 weeks at this property. The house has bags of character and we especially loved the pool area and the huge plot of land which provided great areas for lazing in the shade in the variety of seating and hammocks provided. The 3 grandchildren loved the pool and table tennis which kept them occupied for hours. A walk to the local village and two nice bars and restaurants that made the kids really welcome. The nearest town Pezenas is a lovely mix of traditional French cobbled streets and shaded bars and restaurants. We all said we would gladly go back.

Beautiful villa in perfect location

  • 5 of 5

We arrived late, which didn't affect the warm welcome that we received from Kevin! Croissants, wine, beer and soft drinks supplied to sustain us until a trip to the local supermarket was arranged. Kevin even took my husband to the local supermarket.

The villa was as described. Clean, well maintained and spacious. The grounds and pool were as described, also clean, well maintained and spacious. We have 3 children and it was perfect. Lots of space and secure. The pool area was fenced off with a lock on the gate, essential for parents with young children.

The location was wonderful. Secluded but within walking distance to a small local restaurant, which was extremely child friendly. Also only a 5 minute drive to a neighbouring town (Roujan) with more restaurants. We drove to 2 different beaches during our stay, both of which were about 30 minutes drive, both were lovely. We also visited a Dinosaur Park which was a lovely afternoon out. We enjoyed a lot of time around the wonderful pool - complete with shaded play area for toddlers, gazebo to provide respite from the glorious sun and fridge to keep those drinks chilled!

We received an exceptionally high level of customer service. The hot water seemed to have stopped working, one call and Kevin was there to sort it out! We had one visit during the week to maintain the pool. Our hosts also went above and beyond the expected level of service when I mentioned that our flight home was quite late, they allowed us to leave a bit later than would normally be required. The service was exceptional without being intrusive.

I would also like to say the service provided before we arrived was also excellent - providing information on local car hire firms and providing detailed directions to the villa from the airport.

We will definitely be returning next year and would have no qualms in recommending the property as a wonderful holiday destination.

Wonderful house in a wonderful spot!

  • 5 of 5

Our party of 7 arrived in the wonderful spot of Roujan in August. Kevin was on hand to welcome us and give us the grand tour, very kindly providing us with some arrival goodies to supplement the shopping we had stocked up on from Pezanas.

The house is beautiful. Spacious, nicely maintained and the pool was glorious. The huge gardens were a real bonus too! We used both BBQs during our stay and enjoyed eating out on the patio of an evening.

The bedrooms are roomy and light and it is a real oasis of calm with the glrorious vineyards at the end of the drive.

The position is great and it is easily accesible to a host of locations. We ventured far and wide including Carcassone, St Jean de Mott and the Carmargue. All worthwhile trips.

Kevin popped by mid week to clean the pool and check all was OK - there we no complaints for us.

We enjoyed it so much we have booked to return in August 2015 and cannot wait!

Good location, well equipped, friendly owners

  • 5 of 5

We sent a week in this great house near Roujan, our party of 10 split our time between visiting local attractions and the pool. The house has a good level of furnishing and equipment, the WIFI is a great addition and made everyones life much easier when selecting the next day trip out.

2X BBQ's and a good size pool with shaded areas for the kids were perfect, the shallow end of the pool is a little deep for learner swimmers but there is a shallow step area for them to build confidence with.

The house is well located to visit most of the major attractions in the area, particular highlights are: Montpellier, which has seen some impressive building in the last few years and now has brilliant facilities for kids in the Odesseyum (Aquarium, Themed restaurants, play areas, huge shopping mall).

Saint Guilhem Le Desert & Pont Diable, spectacular ancient town and river, very pretty, local free shuttle busses that takes you to a few local attractions every 15 mins, take a camera and good walking shoes and swimming costumes.

Carcassonne, castle and walled town. Really spectacular but crazy busy during our stay, i guess this one is best done outside school holidays.

One thing we didn't do is visit Pezenas, the local town which looked really great with old narrow streets and hidden shops, perhaps next time.

Many thanks to Kevin and Ann who made us feel welcome and were staying fairly local but still gave us privacy to enjoy our family holiday.
