About the property

St Brides is a beautifully modernised West Wales detached stone cottage - one of the oldest houses in Saundersfoot. It has been in our family for nearly 50 years and was formally owned by an old Sea Captain. All the front rooms have panoramic views of the beach and the bay. We are 200M from Saundersfoot beach, the harbour, the town's shops and restaurants. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is nearby.

The cottage, with its thick stone walls and beamed ceilings, has been completely fitted out to a high standard for your comfort and enjoyment. There are 3 bedrooms: 1 king, 1 double and 1 bedroom with bunk beds for 2 children. There is a very good upstairs bathroom (bath, shower, wc and basin) and downstairs shower room with wc. The kitchen, dining room and lounge are all separate rooms.

The lounge has a wonderful wood burning stove (basket of logs provided), large TV with BT Vision/Sport and is equipped with a Yamaha iPod/iPhone player

WiFi is provided via BT and it runs at 4-6Mb. BT Sport is also provided that allows film downloads and recording of your favourite TV shows.

There are books, games and some dvds provided with the cottage. The books are mostly modern novels - recently bought for reading groups!

The Garden: The front garden and lovely large terrace over look the bay/beach. There are chairs and a table in the conservatory. The rear garden is sloping. There are stone steps and retaining walls in the garden and unguarded drops of about 1m. The garden is reasonably secure and children and pets should be supervised and/or be careful. The garden is not completely pet proof. There is a rotary washing line.

Unusually for the centre of Saundersfoot, there is off road parking on the drive for two or three cars which is accessed off St Brides Hill. The gateway to the drive is wide enough for family cars (9 feet). To leave by car most people reverse out which requires assistance. The photographs show the access and driveway and the terraced garden.

The amenities of Saundersfoot are within a short walk down St Brides Hill. The long sandy beach (within 200 metres) has safe bathing, good fishing and magical rock pools to explore! The harbour is directly below the cottage with fishing & leisure boats and the Saundersfoot Sailing Club.

The luxurious St Brides Hotel is very close by where you can enjoy a great meal or a visit to the luxurous Spa.

Christmas at St Brides

Just spent a great Christmas week at St Brides, lovely cottage everything you need and the most comfy beds, log fire gives it the finishing touch especially at Christmas all this and in the best location Can't wait to stay again.

Excellent weekend break

What a lovely cottage all be it a very large cottage everything there you could possibly need and a welcome bottle of proseco was just what was needed when getting there in the evening. The views from there are excellent and just a short walk to the beach with the dogs and we were even lucky with the weather for November no rain! Have recommend this cottage to family and friends and would definitely consider a summer break there. The log burner was great and we all enjoyed that especially the dogs

Lovely Cottage in a Beautiful Location

My husband, son and parents stayed at St Bride's cottage for 4 nights in September and had a fabulous holiday. The cottage is well-equipped, and spacious enough that 4 adults and a child did not feel cramped. The location is excellent, with amenities and the beach no further than a 5 minute walk away. The view from the cottage is beautiful - directly overlooking Saundersfoot's beach.

The owner provided lots of information regarding the cottage and location prior to our stay which was also extremely useful.

All in all I would thoroughly recommend St Bride's cottage.

Beautiful view - lovely well appointed cottage!!

Not great at writing reviews but loved this place, so wanted to advertise it :)

Beautiful cottage with stunning views, nice and close to the centre of everything and a 5 min walk to the beach. My daughter and I had a fantastic time. The cottage is clean and tidy and the garden is great - with a lovely bench by the hedge so you can watch the world go by and look at the stunning views :) The owners are very friendly and incredibly helpful. I would not hesitate to book this cottage again in the future.

Home from home cottage with beautiful vie

We loved the cottage and anything you could think of was provided for our use; beds and shower were top quality. Peter the owner was a pleasure to deal with and we appreciated the lovely bottle of wine on arrival. Saundersfoot itself is a lovely place with no shortage of activities close by for children and adults and we really enjoyed our stay.

Saundersfoot is a seaside village with a picturesque harbour and a long, wide, gently sloping sandy beach. It is popular with all age groups, walkers and watersports enthusiasts. St Brides Cottage probably has one of the best locations in Saundersfoot with stunning views over the bay and the harbour yet within walking distance of all amenities and the beach.
