Apartments Modernsita are, as the name indicates, situated in one of the beautiful modernist buildings, which is typical for the Eixample-district. The beautiful apartments all have high ceilings, which gives the apartments a mundane feeling, which is typical for the 1920s architecture in Barcelona. The modern convenient facilities are added with respect for the history

The apartment is centered around the lovely living room with a leather couch and armchairs as well as a flat-screen television and a stunning view of the street life from the French balcony. When the doors to the French balcony are open, it provides a terrace-like atmosphere.

The apartment has 3 bedrooms, a master bedroom with French windows, a double room and a single room, so in total 5 people will be able to sleep in the apartment. In the living room there is also a dining room with a dining table.

There is also a very modern kitchen and a modern bathroom. The bathroom has a bath tub and a shower and the kitchen is very well equipped with an oven, stove and microwave, kettle and Nespresso machine and a fridge and freezer so the ice cubes will be ready after a long day exploring the warm and vibrant Barcelona.

Other than that, there is also a washing machine, WIFI Internet and partial air conditioning to make your stay pleasant in every way. This apartment is simply a nice home, centrally located and with an authentic atmosphere, which gives the stay an extra little dimension.

Eixaple

The location in the most central part of the Eixaple-district, is super central and relatively quiet - one street from the Gran Via Boulevard, and to streets from the mundane Passeig de Grácia, where you will find the two most famous Gaudí buildings.

In the summertime the children can paddle in the the paddling pool in hidden atrium, just around the corner from the building, where you also find a beautiful antique water tower. Here can the parents fully relax while the children have fun the paddling pool.

In the Eixemple distrect, you will find plenty of very good restaurants. You can either research or find your favorites before arrival, or you can simply take walk down the charming Rambla de Catalunya (don’t confuse with “la rambla”).

In the area, there are great shopping facilities, and plenty of specialty stores. With the central location, you will have plenty of interesting sights and areas in walking distance:

- Passeig de Grácia: 4 minutes

- Rambla de Catalunya: 6 minutes

- Placa de Catalunya (and airport busses): 9 minuttes

- La Rambla: 10 minutes

- Barceloneta and the beach: 15-20 minutes (via the El Borne district)

- A very nice longer walk, is to follow Passeig de Grácia to the cosy Grácia distict, where you will find plenty of nice small shops and restaurants.

By arrival:
The remaining amount and a security deposit (for keys and damages) must be paid by arrival. The security deposit will be returned by arrival.

Arrival and Departure:
Arrival will usually be possible after 15:00 (supplement for arrival after 19:00) and departure time is 11:00 (am). Usually, luggage can be stored during the day, if you have a late flight.

Included in the price:
bed linen, towels, national taxes, electricity and water.

Not included in the price:
Catalan tourist tax € 0,72/adult(+16)/night.
