Great house
We really enjoyed our stay in Casa Monica. As a group of 6 adults and 7 children, aged from 6 months to 10, the house was perfect for our needs. The separate summer house was particularly nice, providing additional space for relaxing and playing. The grounds were also great for the kids, allowing them to have lots of freedom to roam around, play football and basketball. The pool was very clean and a good size and was even a good temperature.
The house overall was clean and had everything that we needed for cooking and dining.
The only negative with small children is that the staircase was a bit treacherous. As a mitigating factor, however, there is a back door from the first floor which leads directly out to the grounds, so the staircase could be avoided if necessary. There was a stair gate, but it would probably be better if it were fit to the top of the staircase to avoid any tumbles from the top.
Bertel and Lisbeth were also incredibly helpful in arranging babysitting and providing local information.
We would happily return to this house again and would recommend it to anyone.
