Guestbook comments from the owner

Fantastic views from this well equipped country farmhouse. Great for staying with the family with a nice drive into the vibrant town of Kenmare & located on many beautiful scenic routes around Kerry & west cork. Camera never got a rest especially when deer arrived in lawn. We will be going back to this beautiful part of Ireland.

Kenmare River Cottage 5a

  • 5 of 5

Excellent, well-appointed and very comfortable property. The manager was very friendly and helpful. It is a quiet location with tremendous views, free of all traffic noise and very peaceful - a perfect place to relax. The Beara Peninsula has some spectacular scenery and some terrible minor roads - beware! We would recommend this property to anyone and we will probably return in the future.

Fantastic views

  • 5 of 5

The view from the cottage to the Kenmare river is absolutely fantastic. With ever changing sun, clouds, rain and rainbows it is somehow different each hour. The location is well maintained, very tranquil and remote and that was what we have searched for. The description was very accurate and also late arrival at the first day wasn't a problem at all. We liked especially the scuba dive course in Kilmakilloge Harbour and having mussels in the O'Sullivan pub there is a must!

The house is a perfect spot if you want to visit both the rings of Kerry and Beara, the later much lesser crowded and for us the better choice.

  • 5 of 5

We had a perfect week in Kenmare. The cottage is everything we hoped for and even more. Very good equipped, exactly like it said in the description. Everything was spotless and clean, and well-maintained. The manager provided very good service. We really can recommend the cottage to everybody and will come back if possible. We did the ring of beara, absolutly beautyful and stunning, marvellous holidays.

Awesome vacation!

  • 5 of 5

Cottage was wonderful, best view in our many years of vacationing. It was extremely quiet and relaxing, yet only 15 minutes from Kenmare and shopping as well as many restaurant's.

Perfect location to explore the Beara, Kerry, and Dingle peninsula's.

Highly recommend this property.

Very clean house with outstanding panoramic views

  • 5 of 5

The house was very clean and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant holiday. The location of the house is indescribably beautiful, the scenery and the tranquility invites you to relax. The house is very well suited for a family holiday. In addition, the house is wheelchair accessible. My family and I are very excited from that house and can imagine to spend our holidays there again.
