Liguand - Maison de la mere - 2 bed cottage for weekly rent

Our largest cottage at just over 100m2. With its own gated garden, patio, covered terrace Maison de la mere will intrique you with its modern twist.

The expansive lounge and dining area with stone finished walls and modern flooring will entice you to open the large folding doors onto your private garden and tiled patio where you can dine al fresco looking over the fields, watching the sun set in the distance. Maison de la mere contains a separate equipped kitchen complementing the modern look. bedroom 1 is furnished with country inspired furniture and a king size bed bedroom 2 has 2 x single beds which can be converted into a double bed if required.. The 'wet room' bathroom with rain shower I something a little different.

With a private pool, shared only with our other cottage you are guaranteed peace and quiet.

All beds are made and ready for your arrival, so your holiday can start immediately. Linen and towels are provided within the rental price. Prices are based on 2 people sharing.

Charming combined 2 gite properties

We had a fantastic stay at both Maison d’ami & Maison de la Mere. As a group of 2 couples of friends we were looking for 2 separate yet adjacent properties which we wanted to combine exclusively for our own use when we came across the 2 gites at Liguand complex. Both were comfortable, clean and very peaceful, a good combination of modern yet traditional French countryside charming houses. All the modern conveniences we were used to like WiFi, TV with British channels and even lots of DVDs were provided. But we especially enjoyed having the whole pool for our disposal, which we enjoyed throughout our stay greatly. Our hosts Sara and Geoff were really helpful with advise on places of interest to visit, especially vineyards close by and night markets which were one of main reasons why we came to this area. Information pack which was already left in our gites was rather handy also. And big thank you to our hosts for all the necessities including milk, bread etc. provided at the check in. It was a pleasant surprise. The property is just 20 minutes away from Bergerac airport and surrounded by vineyards in every direction. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend Liguand complex.

Wonderful Location, Superb Hosts

The gites were absolutely lovely, well decorated and well maintained. I saw both as we were a family group renting both properties. One gite is rustic, country style and one is a little more modern in decor, both are very nice. We had a lovely welcome pack including fresh eggs from the very friendly hen group and there was plenty of information about local night markets and sightseeing. Geoff and Sara were extremely welcoming helpful. The pool is very clean and the surrounding area is pleasant to relax in. The location is picturesque and quiet, but there are a few villages close by so you do not feel isolated. I will certainly return.
