Sunny 2 bed apartment

Newly decorated 2 bedroom apartment located just a few minutes away from City of London . There are 2 decent size bedrooms and living room, kitchen with cooking facilities, washing machine, fridge and bathroom with bath and shower. The apartment is centrally heated and has free high speed Wi-Fi. The London tube stations of Shadwell and Whitechapel are only 5 minutes (500 m) walk away.

Both bedrooms has a king size beds with a very comfortable mattresses and anti-allergy pillows and duvets. Egyptian high quality bed linen will make your stay extremely comfortable. Rooms are light, airy with a blackout blinds. Comfortable lounge area in the living room with white leaver sofa and single sofa bed and large screen TV.

There are table and chairs in the kitchen (seats 4-5 people).

Child friendly. Infant cot and highchair available on request.

There is a large food supermarket just at the end of the road, a corner shop for basics. Few nice restaurants and cafes in walking distance.

My name is Natalia. In 2007 I've moved to East London. There are a lot of parks, galleries, museums, unique shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, Thames river and Tower Bridge is just 15 mins walk away. It is very easy to get any part of London by public transport or bike. I'm working as HR manager for fashion company in Brick Lane and have lovely family.

Pleasant stay

The flat was well furnished and warm enough for the wintry weather. Transport links were convenient and the area was interesting. The road outside was not too busy so there was minimum noise. An enjoyable stay.

Nice location close to major transportation points

John and Natalia were very kind and accommodating. We arrived a little later than initially anticipated, but John met us at the door and provided us a tour of the apartment flat along with suggested local attractions and restaurants to visit. Stocked with one bath towel each, and a fully functional kitchen. Had some difficulty with Wifi the first night, but the next day Natalia came and fixed it. On the third floor accessed by stairs and close to the London Islam school and mosque; high concentration of Muslims and Halal food in the immediate area. Overall, very nice stay and we would return to this property in the future.

Natalia hat uns sehr nett und herzlich empfangen. Sie gab uns eine Menge gute Tipps; Restaurants, Pubs, Shopping und Sehenswürdigkeiten etc. für East End. Das Apartment ist ruhig, gut ausgestattet und sauber. Die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sind in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Thank you for everything Natalia. It was a great stay!

5 jours à londres

Notre petit séjour à 4 à Londres a été parfait et ce grace surtout à Natalia et son mari John qui ont été du début des contacts jusqu'à la fin du séjour d'une gentillesse exemplaire .

Leur appartement est une très très bonne surprise à tous les niveaux ( emplacement , propreté , équipements.......) tout a été parfait pour un prix tout à fait correct pour Londres.

toutes les commodités pour passer un séjour parfait sont à portée de main ( métro , banque , supermarché , bus......)

Pour les personnes qui seraient intéressées , n'hésitez pas une seconde , Natalia et John vous donneront le meilleur

Advantagesy/disadvantages to be weight carefully

Listing describtion was accurate. Very clean flat, good heating, kitchen equipment OK. You get what you see on homepage. Customer service OK.

Road/entrance/hall/stairway/ area not clean at all, very dark, VERY smelly, very strange, not inviting at all.

However, we would recommend flat if intensive odours were brought totaly under control. (Close by) supermarkets not suitabel for nice British shopping experience, distances/describtions lack accurancy. Price/location of flat made up for several (minor) disadvantages.

Akzeptabel, es gibt sicher bessere Unterkünfte

Puh, wo soll man hier anfangen. Also die Gegend sollte man eigentlich beschreiben, wenn man die Location hier anbietet. Wir sind in einem Viertel gelandet mit sehr vielen fernöstlichen Menschen. Das Haus gehört scheinbar den Vermietern, wobei ich echt über den Zustand schockiert war. Das Treppenhaus mit Teppich ausgelegt ist unter aller Kanone. Überall Dreck, Staub und zum Teil durch die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit Schimmel. Die Wohnung ist in Ordnung, wenn man nur kurz bleiben will. Mit Kindern/ obwohl Kindgerecht eingerichtet kann ich es nicht empfehlen. Wir mussten jedes mal in den 3. Stock alles hochtragen mit unserer kleinen Tochter. Das hätte die Dame auch von Anfang an sagen können, denn Sie wusste, dass wir eine 1jährige Tochter dabei haben. Hat dies aber nicht erwähnt, obwohl ich ihr gleich zu Anfang geschrieben habe, wie alt unsere Tochter ist. Die Wohnung scheint ok, wobei das Bad nicht wirklich renoviert wurde(auf den Bildern sieht man beide Bäder, wir hatten das Holzbad, das andere scheint neuer zu sein) der gesamte Boden in der Wohnung ist von Kratzern übersät. Leider kann man sich die Wohnung nicht aussuchen. Der Boden hat man scheinbar als Küchenarbeitsplatte gleich benutzt, deshalb quillt er überall dort auf. Ist nicht wirklich geeignet. Die Küchenausstattung ist eher schlicht und billig gehalten, aber das nötigste ist da. Die Begrüßung war super nett. Auch die Dame hat ein kleines Kind und hat uns etwas Spielzeug hier gelassen. Dafür und für das späte auschecken gebe ich einen Stern. Kurz aufgezählt, was hier einfach nicht geht: Duschvorhang wird von Kabelbindern gehalten, die Schubladen in der Küche muss man mit Kabelbinder öffnen, weil man keinen Griff fest machen konnte, die komplette Ausstattung ist fast alles von IKEA, aber sowas von abgewohnt, Matratzen sind durchgelegen, Sofas komplett durch, selbst die Batterien in den Fernbedienungen sind ausgelaufen und funktionieren nicht mehr richtig, die Wohnung ist total zugig und feucht. Habe zwei Tage ein T-Shirt getrocknet. Fazit, nochmal kommen würden wir nicht.

London is very multicultural city. On the website and on my first email to you , I've mentioned that apartment is located in east London near Whitechapel and Shadwell tube stations. Really disappointing to hear racist notes in your words. If you were looking for particular area, you should make your research. May I add Knightbridge is also "far east people area". All the information about the apartment is provided on the website, floor, lift availability, etc. Also the pictures shows everything. We do not advertise our apartment as a luxury accommodation. It is stated as budget place. And we have a relevant price. Hope you admit that you have not been mislead by our advert. It just you expectations did not meet the reality. Kind regards Natalia

Located in one of the historical parts of Central London, just a few minutes walk from Whitechapel Underground Station and Shadwell DLR, which is only one stop from Bank and four stops from Canary Wharf. The apartment is very conveniently located for the Spitafields, Brick lane and Columbia road markets. You can find there unique presents and souvenirs, art, vintage and hand made clothes and jewelry, try excellent food and absorbed the urban atmosphere of East London.

There is a large food supermarket just at the end of the road. The best London curry house - Tayyab's and a great Turkis restaurant just 5 mins walk from the apartment. 20 mins walk towards City and you will be in Spitafields market area (one of the oldest Victorian Market) with a lot of restaurants, pubs, bars and history.

You can easily get any part of London by Underground, Overground, Buses, River boat (Thames Clipper) or on street rental bikes. Oxford Street, Soho, Piccadilly, Westminster, Covent Garden, Greenwich are only 15-20 minutes away.

A lovely walk on the canal, passing the oldest riverside pub 'Prospect of Whitby' dating back to 1520, will bring you to the beautiful St Kathrine's Dock and Tower Bridge in just 30 minutes.

In the night time you are very close to the center of London's night life Shoreditch and Hoxton areas with their unusual and quirky bars and pubs, one of the popular places for young people. You also find all the best street art in East London and discover the work of over 40 street artists.
