Our 480 square feet Garden level space has a coffeemaker, microwave, and fridge plus a small cooking area, 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, and a living room with a queen size sleeper sofa, TV, and WIFI.

Enjoy the quiet ambiance of one of Vancouver's loveliest and safest neighborhoods. Take advantage of the proximity to downtown, UBC, golf courses, fine restaurants, grocery stores, shops, and the long stretch of beaches.
Shopping and bus stops in walking distance (2 Blocks away - Dunbar St. and McKenzie St.).
Just steps away is the beautiful Balaclava Park with playgrounds, baseball, and soccer fields - just down the back lane.

Situated minutes away you find the Pacific Spirit Park, a West Coast rainforest next to the city for walking or biking. You might also find your way down to Jericho Beach 10 minutes by car or walk along the seawall in Stanley Park to take in Vancouver's breathtaking views.

Great garden apartment in Vancouver

We had a very pleasant stay in this garden apartment, which had all the amenities we needed - including 2 TVs, washer/drier, fridge/freezer, microwave etc. Very comfortable bed, and lots of storage space. The pleasant host met with us, and explained how things worked. She also told us about local stores, and where to get either of the 2 buses to downtown (takes about 8 minutes to walk to bus, and a 30 minute ride downtown). The host might want to ask her cleaner to remove some of the cobwebs around lights, and throw out some of the cans of food left over by previous renters (expired), and defrost the freezer as 2 drawers were frozen shut. These are very minor issues, easily sorted, and didn't detract from our stay. We would recommend the property, and would use again if we're back in Vancouver.

Vancouver holiday and research

Very well appointed with a welcoming family. Fizz was good - as was the advice and directions for shops & transport. Delightful area. Slightly unconventional but friendly organisation with the (shared) washing machine. Thoroughly recommended and we'd love to come back

Perfect place

The family were very welcoming and helpful and gave us good hints about what to do and where to go. The flat was perfect for our small family of 3 and very well equipped - lots of thought seemed to have gone into what people might need. It was also very clean. The area is lovely, it might seem a long way from Downtown Vancouver, but the buses are fantastic so it was a simple 5 minute walk, then about 30 minutes into town. Dunbar is lovely, lots of character and lovely shops.

Our 2 daughters attend University in Montreal and Kelowna and they as well speak English and German!
I love to meet people from all over the world and listen to their adventures and their own country.

We love Vancouver! One of the most 'versatile' cities in the world. The area where we live is on a hill and you have a view of the mountains. You never really have the feeling you live right in the city.
Being so close to the mountains, the forest, the beaches and downtown is truly unique!

What makes this property unique

Our house has a lush garden for you to enjoy, the view of the mountains and a big park just 1 minute away. Our suite is cozy and clean and has an artsy and European feel to it.
