Perfect for a quiet winter break with comfy beds, cosy blankets on sofas and a fab pub within walking distance (although the older generation did drive!) Great communication from owner.

Fabulous stay for the family in a tranquil location. Surrounded by peaceful countryside with sheep and cows. Home from home that exceeded all expectations.

The perfect Cornsish escape... highly recommended!

We keep coming back to Lana Vale because its a perfect place to relax away from the buzz of the beach, so the perfect escape for us when we're tired, hungry and covered in ice-cream and sand! It is really close to the coast and with easy access by car to Polzeath Beach which my kids absolutely love, but its conveniently tucked away in-between the lanes and fields of the Cornish countryside for a much needed dose of calm after a busy day with sandcastles or cliff adventures. The house itself is very private with a gorgeous garden with room for kids to play, including a very cute rustic swing and a BBQ if you plan to stay in. But don't miss the opportunity to visit the wonderful family friendly pub walking distance away if you want to go out. my kids loved playing in the pub garden and the food is fantastic. The house itself is well equipped and very comfortable, with everything you could need for a home away from home. Outdoor hose and washing line for de-sanding and a laundry room for drying towels off. Well stocked kitchen with store cupboard essentials. Cosy but generous sitting room with a lovely fireplace. Gorgeous bathroom, particularly the lovely deep roll top bath. The bedrooms are comfortable and lots of storage space. Really can't fault this place as a great home away from home. Highly recommended!!!

Highly recommend this family cottage!

My husband, two young daughters and I stayed at Lana Vale in X. We loved the location and the cottage itself. It’s a beautiful and cosy home away from home which is ideal for families like mine - a bunk bed for the kids and a large king-size bed. The eat-in kitchen had everything we needed to have meals at the cottage. The kids loved having Sky and we were all glad the cottage had Wifi. As it was summer when we visited, we were able to take advantage of the huge garden and access to the beach/moors was super easy. And finally there is a great traditional pub within walking distance from the cottage. I would highly recommend Lana Vale and we will definitely be back!
