My name is Karen and I live here at the Kiotari area. More specifically near a village called Asklipios. I am the Operations Manager for Horizon Line Villas. I started managing these villas for 2 years. It has been great interacting with the guests through emails and then meeting them when they arrive.
This property is great because you feel like you are in a home away from home but with something extra like the private pool and beautiful sea view. It is so relaxing and there are also some things to do and places to eat.
One unique benefit is that although it is a home, we provide free cleaning services almost every other day. There is a maintenance man on call. In addition we have an infinity pool that can heat up with a waterfall.
Thank you very much for a wonderful week in Villa Alia , it has been absolutely fantastic. Very comfortable and relaxing stay! Congratulations to you – the service was superb from beginning to the end.
We are very sorry to leave- we wish we could stay here more. However, we will come back next summer.

We stayed in Villa Aliya for two weeks in July 2011 and had fantastic time. The house and the surroundings completely fulfilled our expectations. We are definitely thinking to return to this place sometimes in the future. More detailed review can be found bellow.
House: Villa Aliya is well suited for families with two children. It is equipped with all necessary appliances and offers a very comfortable accommodation. The only drawback may be a very small bathroom in the first floor. The swimming pool is clean and well maintained all the time. There is a plenty of space to park your car and even a barbeque can be found at the back of the house. The house was cleaned upon our arrival and fresh towels and bed linens were provided at the end of the first week. Slightly annoying may be mosquitoes in the evening (especially if you like to sit outside by the pool), but there are nets for every door/window (but we still recommend repellents).
Location: The best point of this villa is probably its location. Just across the street (not very busy) there is a nice (almost private) pebble beach with crystal clear waters and a small island where you can swim. Almost exclusive visitors of this beach are the visitors from Horizont Line Villas!
Walking distance from the Villa you will find an excellent restaurant called Stefano. The service is really friendly and you will find fresh fish and other local specialities every day. Strongly recommended. If you are looking for a Greek night, then we would advise you to go for a dinner to village Asklipio (5 minutes by car). Take your time, enjoy slightly cooler temperatures and home-kitchen of Nikolas tavern. At around 11 pm locals will start to come out for a drink and there is a good chance for spontaneous singing and dancing. On the other hand, if you are more on the high-end side, then tavern Mourella (5 minutes by car along the coastal street) is an excellent choice.
If you like to go around, then the first place to visit would be probably ancient village of Lindos (20 minutes by car). The castle and tinny vibrant streets are always full and worth visiting. City of Rodos is much bigger but very interesting with its fortification and mixture of different cultures. The island itself is full of remnants from the times of crusaders but since it is relatively small island you will not spend more than a couple of days to visit them all.
