About this property

This late 40's home has a newly remodeled interior with two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two twin beds. There is also a Queen futon. Dinning room with seating for 4, cook wear, dishes, linens, internet and smart tv, everything you will need to make your stay comfortable, including a washer and dryer. We do allow approved well behaved, house trained dogs up to 2 (must be crated if left in house unattended). We do not allow cats. You can view the ocean and amazing sun sets from the sitting porch after your day of exploring.

Perfect location

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay here. It was close to dining options, tourist attractions, and various redwood parks. The home and yard are well maintained. The host provides cooking and dish ware, a dog kennel, dog bowl and blankets, lots of fresh linens and towels, and even a pack and play was in one of the closets! If you find yourself looking for a place to stay in this area, this is a good one!

We always visit during a storm. It's just the way it works out with my vacation days. We always feel safe and the hosts are very nice. Its a very short walk to the beach so if you get to cold to fast its a fast walk back to the house! We will be back again hopefully.

Beach house retreat

Having a comfortable place to stay while spending time visiting family in the area is fabulous. Great place to stay!

10/10 Easy check in and easy check out. Great communication with owners. We were on a trip to the redwoods. This is a great location. Cozy place to stay with lots of amenities. Highly recommend!

Place to unwind

There are a lot of accommodations in the area, but not many homes. Nice place to stay and visit the ocean and Redwoods.

We moved to the Del Norte area in 1986 and live on a ranch in Big Flat surrounded by wilderness. We raise cattle and sheep on the ranch and several horses. We purchased the coastal house for a rental in town and remodeled the inside with our daughter's help in 2012.
