Lovely Evergreen Cottage on Bowen Island with spectacular water views overlooking Dorman Bay and Howe Sound plus coastal mountain views. Enjoy the huge cedar deck for sunning and bbq's. Please request for pets as we do make exceptions.

The space has a license from the municipality for a maximum of 6 guests at any given time. This maximum includes guests which are only there during the day for a visit. Maximum of one pet upon request.

Great location Cabin has a lovely deck and inside living room Comfortable beds It was very dusty, Chris arranged for the cleaners to come and dust during the stay - thank you. However it needs a proper clean - cobwebs in door corners, dust still on surfaces, picture frames etc - the cleaners are not cleaning well enough. It would be nice to have a small jar of coffee and some tea especially if you are arriving after the shops are closed.

Great stay!

Great stay, cabin feels like a real escape. Kitchen was great. The views are unbeatable. Only things that would have topped this to perfect would be that the deck gets morning sun not afternoon so we were chilly (but that'd actually be an advantage in the hot summer) and the double bed in the 2nd bedroom was pretty sunken so I didn't have the greatest sleep with my husband in there (would be totally fine for 1 person and that being said the bedding with nice and comfy).

I have been coming to Bowen all my life.My great grandfather, Jake Dorman pioneered here in the late 1800's. He bought acres of land in Dorman Bay
After retiring in 2007 I purchased the Evergreen Hall B&B in Deep Bay on Bowen and then later decided to add the Evergreen cottage on Taylor Rd for a vacation rental My children loved coming to the cottage and roaming the trails on our private acreage behind the cottage and swim at September Mourn beach just down the road. Bowen being so close to Vancouver and just a 20 minute ferry ride make this a very desirable and safe community to both live and visit

Why they chose this property

My father picked this location to build the cottage because of the views, easy to access all year, and the proximity to the village of Snug Cove and the marinas

What makes this property unique

The Evergreen cottage is a Lindal cedar home with high ceilings , beams and windows in the living room letting in light all year. The huge cedar decking with glass panels allow the views forever both from inside and out.
From the open kitchen while preparing a meal watching the ferries go by and the Cruise ships in the distance, the lights of Vancouver across the water, the deer grazing in the yard, the morning sunrise over the north shore mountains and the stars at night while sitting on the deck make this a very inviting and magical experience
