Great stay
This lake house is by the lake Livingston and has an amazing view. It's right beside the wolf creek park, where my kids love to play. Coldspring is a nice little town, and there are several nice diners. The house itself is very clean and well stocked. Some small things may need some maintenance, but they didn't impact our stay. Overall it was a great place to relax and rewind. We really loved it.

Great location on the lake
Great place to stay for some quiet time. Plenty of amenities and comforts located in the home. I'd recommend rearranging the master so the bed is not shoved in the corner as this is unnecessary and cumbersome. There's plenty of room to even add a 2nd nightstand as well.

Quiet Lake Getaway
We were looking for a place directly on the lake in close proximity to where we have our annual July 4th celebration (we have been trying for 3 years!), Our parents own a place on the lake literally 1 street over so i have been trying for this one...i finally booked this one early (right after July 4 2022) and we are so glad we did. The view & convenience to parent's place was amazing...we could have kayaked over there. Unfortunately, we didn't have the annual July 4 celebration this year. We lost Dad June 30th😭. We were not sure we were able to make it to (or even wanted to) come. The owner was very receptive and communicated with us regularly when we were unsure of being able to come. They gave us a few options from which to choose since we were already past the cancel with refund date. But in the end, we opted to keep the reservation and we are so glad we did. It ended up being a much needed period of relaxation and reflection after caring for dad during his long debilitating illness. We even convinced Mom to come for 2 days, since they loved the lake so much. Property is so very quiet and beautiful. Even with neighbors around, you hardly notice them there. The house was clean and well stocked with kitchen items, bbq grill and supplies, wood for the firepit, and even had beach towels, toys, and games for the kids There were some adult games, but we didn't play them. Kayaks & life jackets provided too. Hot tub was so fun and amazing! Overall very nice place! Will return

Excellent Property
This is our second time to stay at this property and we will definitely be back. The house is great, the location on Lake Livingston is amazing, and with amenities like a hot tub, tandom kayaks, and a firepit, you cant go wrong here. The boys and I caught many small catfish and carp and had a fun and rrlqxing time while doing it. The owners are great and we really enjoyed our stay at their property. Thank you again for helping our family trip be a memorable one.

Gary & Jeanene Jensen are happy to offer this property for you to enjoy your vacation. We have been in the Information Technology business for many years, and have recently started our own IT consulting business. So, with all the travel we do for work, we have purchased our ideal lakefront property that we hope to enjoy fully in our retirement years. We live nearby, our daughter goes to a local school, and Jeanene's family and friends are all in this same general area. Jeanene is a native Texan, while Gary is Canadian born and moved from Canada in 1999 - he really moved to escape those nasty Canadian winters in Edmonton, AB, but didn't realize at the time that he was going from the freezer to the frying pan! The Houston weather took a little getting used to.

Why they chose this property

We spent many months selecting what we thought was the perfect property for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We wanted a property that would offer the best lake views, lots of room to do outdoor activities, fish off the bulkhead, participate in lots of water sports, and enjoy nature in a quiet acreage setting. We believe this is indeed the perfect vacation spot!

What makes this property unique

The sunrise and lake views are spectacular. You can sit in the Hot Tub and watch the birds fly over the lake. You can fish right off the bulkhead. You can have a morning coffee on the covered patio with lake view, listen to the wind blow through the many large trees on the property. It is peaceful, relaxing, fun and just an enjoyable spot in every way.
