Thomasz Lodge - Kandy

We can pick you from the Kandy train station to our lodge Free of Cost. We have 3 rooms. 2 newly built deluxe rooms separate from the main colonial house and 1 in-house double room. All rooms are equipped with AC, Wi Fi, flat screen TV with satellite connection, Mini Bar, Hot & Cold water, Ward Robe, Writing table, and individual sofa, common dinning room & living room. We provide a welcome drink and a continental breakfast as complementary. It only takes 10 minutes to the Kandy City Center.

I am married have have 2 children. My husband is working overseas. Travelling and meeting people has being my hobby. I have traveled and lived in many countries with my husband for long time. Now I have come back to Sri Lanka due to my children' education. My husband knowing my hobby has helped to build Thomasz Lodge with a large garden when I do my own planting of fruits and vegetables.

Why they chose this property

From my child hood my dream has being to live in the Kandy City as this city has being a tourist attraction with lots of colonial architecture. My schooling and home town was in Matale approx. 60 Km from Kandy. After marriage we moved Kandy for children's education. In 2014 we managed to buy this 100 perch land with a view of making a lodge for tourism.

What makes this property unique

What made me fall in love with this land is it is only 10 minutes drive to Kandy city but it has a quiet and green environment. Located by the side of Gunnepana -Kandy main road but on an higher elevation. Surrounded by green trees nourished by the mahaweli river water. The Polgolla Dam & sea plane dock is just 2 minutes away. Distance to my children's school also only 3 minutes. All these attraction and benefits made my to purchase this land.
