Gorgeous house in the historical centre of Tavira, surrounded by restaurants and amenities. A stone's throw away from the river Gilao, our house is a little gem that has recently been entirely renovated and comprises two bedrooms on the lower floor with bathroom and entrée. The first floor is open plan, luminous with windows overlooking the pedestrian streets and a natural lighted fully fitted designer kitchen with seating area, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven and microwave. On the last floor you will be able to sit amongst the roof pics of Tavira - a haven of tranquility, bbq and sip cocktails watching the sun go down.

Superbly renovated house

This lovely house is tastefully decorated and well equipped. The house is quite spacious. The beds are very comfy. Little extras like throws are there to keep you warm on cooler evenings. The kitchen is a joy to use. Owners are very helpful.

Jolie petite maison très cozy au coeur d'une charmante petite ville

Maison très agréable, très cozy, très propre, bien équipée et très bien située au coeur de Tavira. Terrasse sur le toit sympa, mais la machine de la climatisation souffle un air chaud qui n'est pas agréable. Nous avons préféré cette partie de l'Algarve, et nous étions contents d'avoir loué à Tavira Nous reviendrons....

Why they chose this property

This house was a gift from the Pessoa family to the Rico family in he 20´s - as Jacques Pessoa became the godfather of my grandfather : Jaques Rico. The house has been in the family ever since. We started refurbishing it 2015 and it came to completion in 2017. It is not only a symbol of our family history but also of Tavira´s heritage. Its a gem - we hope you like it as much as we do.
