Ca'n Felipe is a 500 yr old property which has been refurbished to the highest standard. With its original fireplace and exposed stone walls, you will experience both the ambiance of yesteryear as well as the modern conveniences. Bright & airy, the ground floor opens to a twin bedroom en-suite. The bathroom displays exposed limestone walls and provides a tub with shower spray, sink and W.C. The stairway leads up to the first floor open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen. An additional half bath(toilet and sink) are on the 2nd stairway as you ascend to the upper master bedroom and bath. The headboard over the twin beds was salvaged from a two hundred year old gate to a Spanish villa. The large bathroom comprises a shower, sink and W.C. The lighted walk in closet will accommodate your needs. The small terrace off this bedroom has picturesque views of the terracotta roof tops of Alcudia. Although you are in the centre of town, you are located on a semi pedestrian quiet street.

Explore the near by beaches and travel the country roads with the 2 mountain bikes provided.

Beautiful house in a peaceful setting

The house was perfect and exactly as described, situated in a quiet pedestrianised street close to all amenities. Katy, the owner was more than happy to advise on interesting places to visit, day trips and restaurants to try. We will definitely return to the property and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Excelent house i Alcudia City

We were well recieved and informed about the haouse faciliets and town restaurants. Likewise the end of our stay was smooth and efficient. We enjoyed the city surroundings, the easy parking facilities, the restaurants, shops and markets. As a conslusion we found Katy Nathan's house an excellent base for our visit to Alcudia and the beatiful surroundings.

Perfect Holiday at Alcudia

I apologize for sending in our review so late! We spent two perfect weeks at Katy’s in July 2015 (German, two adults, one teenager). It was the week of the Fiesta of St. Jaume, and we had all festivities close by and enjoyed them tremendously!

We arrived with a rental car from Palma in the morning, found the place immediately and moved in directly after the formalities – everything was exactly as agreed upon. The house is nicely located, a few steps apart from the pedestrian zone. Public parking is close and free and even with the big events during the fiesta week we always found a place within walking distance. The house is comfortably furnished, with a very cosy atmosphere. Everything was exactly as described and even better. The whole household, especially the kitchen is perfectly and abundantly equipped, there was nothing we could not find. Two spacious bathrooms and a small one, a lovely balcony, a nice parlour and large bedrooms with comfortable beds and plenty of storeroom. It was almost a pity that we did so many excursions, we enjoyed the house so much.

Apart from the usual equipment you find two bicycles, books in different languages, guides, descriptions of the local sights, sunshades and towels for the beach and much much more, and Katy is there if a question arises.

As the description says – the house has three floors (each with a bathroom!) with steep stairs, so I would not recommend it for parents with toddlers or somebody who has difficulties with stairs, but that would be the only restriction.

Supermarkets are close by, market is twice a week, and Alcudia has lots of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops.

Our resumé? These were lovely holidays, we would go again any time, and we can recommend this place to everyone who looks for the perfect holiday home.

touch the stone walls, feel the history

We had chosen this stone house in the old town of Alcudia, because we wanted to feel the history and live in the middle of it. We - two befriended couples - got exactly what we wanted! The house is perfectly refurbished, the stone walls are there to be touched, you even can take a bath in some kind of cave - breathtaking! Looking out of the window, we saw many times the same scene: other tourists took photographs of "our" house and "our" street, which to us seems the most beautiful in Alcudia. This beauty has a little backside though. The living room with kitchen has a couch and two chairs, and a coffee table. But to have dinner or lunch is not possible on this table, it is just too low. You have to use the bar stools at the bar, which is a little uncomfortable. But for breakfast it was o.k. and we would chose this house again!

Loving life in Alcudia Mallorca

Anniversary trip for my wife and I couldn’t not have been better than our time at Ca’n Felipe in old town Alcudia. Katy was very helpful prior to our arrival and with great suggestions once we arrived for restaurants and hide away beach locations. It was great having bikes to explore the Island with.

We look forward to returning. Strong recommendation from us.
