This fully equipped apartment is located just 3 miles from the Capital and 2.5 miles from the University of Costa Rica. Within a 100 meter walk you will get to the bus stop that will take you to either place. The neighborhood is safe and you can walk to supermarkets, corner stores, banks and parks. It is just a block from the Instituto de Lengua Española, a Christian Spanish school. The manager is on site to help you with any questions or request.

Cozy and comfortable house in the middle of San Jose

We stayed there 2 months in March and April 2018. Monica, her husband and her mother were very nice with us. They were waiting for us at the house to show us how everything worked. They took care of everything, they were very efficient and fast when we needed something. The house, recently renovated, was very clean and tidy, nicely furnished, fully equipped kitchen, exactly like the pictures. Locked parking for our rental car was a plus as well as the stable internet connection. It had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood has private security so we felt safe. The nights were quiet and great for sleeping. The house is very close to convenient stores, restaurants within reasonable walking distance and bus stop heading everywhere in San Jose. Monica gave us tips and helpful information about Costa Rica tourism . We would absolutely stay again! Thanks so much Monica!

Dave and I met in Costa Rica in 2010. We had a long distance relationship for a while. Not to long ago we got married and move to the USA.
We both love Rock Climbing and Surfing. Our dream is someday to be able to spend the USA winters in Costa Rica and the USA summers in New Hampshire (where Dave was born).
The apartment in Costa Rica is in a house that has been in the family for generations. My grandfather build it and lived there with his family. He sold it to my parents when they got married and they turned it into a 3 apartments and one house property. I grew up there. A few months ago my husband and I bought it from my mom.
My mom, Ivonne, lives in one of the apartments and helps us manage the place. She is sweet and caring. Her English is not perfect, but she is able to express herself and understands very well. She used to rent the house to American families that went to the Spanish Language Institute located around the corner from the house. She loves to help our guests with recommendations about the area and the country.
We also have a beautiful house in the White Mountains in New Hampshire and we hope to add it to Airbnb by the end of next year.
We will be very happy to have you at our place. We hope you enjoy not just the apartment, but the country.

Our place is perfect for expats, you literally only need to bring your cloths. The kitchen is fully equiped, towels, blankets, fast intertnet (20 Megabits). And if you are missing something, just ask, we will probably have it in storage.
Within walking distance you will find; supermarkets, corner stores, 4 different banks, veterinarians, beuty salons, bar, small restaurants, dentist, doctors and a brand new spa around the corner!!
