Well equipped house on a 1000m2 plot with three double bedrooms

This spacious villa has a well equipped kitchen with an extensive range of crockery, cutlery, glasses, serving dishes, saucepans, utensils and bake ware.

The lounge diner is nicely furnished with comfortable sofas, coffee and occasional tables, a dining table and chairs. There are three good sized bedrooms all with built-in wardrobes, a bathroom and a shower room.

There are fans in the lounge and all bedrooms, and radiators for the cooler months.

It is located in a quiet area but is only 2.5km from the Blue Flag beach of La Barrosa where there are numerous restaurants, bars, cafés and shops.

The Costa de la Luz has an abundance of blue flag sandy beaches a short distance away.

The historic fishing village of Sancti Petri has water sport facilities, Tarifa is a Mecca for wind-surfing enthusiasts and at Bolonia beach there are Roman ruins in excellent condition (free to EU passport holders).

La Barrosa is ideally situated to explore the region. There are many historic towns and villages in the area including Cadiz, Vejer de la Frontera, Medina Sidonia, Jerez, Seville and Arcos de la Frontera.

Further afield you can take a Bodega Sherry tour, travel to Ronda to see the spectacular views from the viaduct, go on a ferry across the Straits to Morocco, see the famous Jerez dancing horses, take a boat trip into the peaceful surroundings of Donana National Park, go whale watching from Tarifa or take the cable car up the Rock at Gibraltar and enjoy duty free shopping.

La Barrosa beach is 8km long and has an abundance of fine white sand and clear blue water, as well as an area of rock pools towards Sancti Petri where children can search to find crabs and fish. At La Barrosa they have recently erected a number of climbing frames for children on the beach as well as other activities available on the promenade. The popular promenade has a number of cafés and restaurants where you can sit and look out across the Atlantic Ocean, as well as the more natural parts with sand dunes. The sea food is excellent and the area is very popular with the Spanish who travel down in the summer from the cities to cool off.

Car hire is available at all these destinations as well as locally, and it is recommended you book it as soon as possible. We can suggest companies at various airports if you send us a request.

La Barrosa is a popular Spanish holiday resort located in the Cadiz province of the Costa de la Luz, Spain. It is a beach resort with a chilled-out atmosphere in the winter and a great buzz in the summer when all the Spaniards come down from mainland Spain.

The resort is located near the southern-most tip of Spain facing the Atlantic Ocean so the lovely breeze in the summer time takes the edge of the heat.

La Barrosa has strict building regulations like the rest of the Costa de la Luz coast-line and there are no buildings above 3 storeys.

There are shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets along La Barrosa main street and also part of the beach front.

There is a well-maintained park one kilometre away from the house which has children's activities and lots of native plants. Adjacent to the park is a small commercial centre with bars, cafés, shops and a DVD rental store. There are three supermarkets a short drive away and Novo Sancti Petri has a good-sized commercial centre.

The lounge has two sofas, a coffee table, TV, DVD player, German and English satellite boxes, Spanish digital television and wifi. There is also a dining table and chairs with a good selection of table linen, side tables, CD/radio player, and a selection of books and games. The fully fitted kitchen has a large selection of crockery, utensils and cookware and includes a gas hob, electric oven, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, blender, fridge freezer and a table and chairs. It leads out to the back garden, patio and pool. There is a washing machine in the utility room. All areas of the house are thoughtfully decorated with a selection of prints, mirrors and hangings. Outside there is a table and chairs for the front patio, and for the pool area there are loungers as well as another table and chairs with an umbrella. A barbecue is also provided. There are grass areas to 3 sides of the house and the front has an abundance of native plants as well as parking for 2 cars

Long term and off-season lets are available by separate arrangement. We do not advertise rates for November-February but please contact us for special monthly prices.
Changeover day is totally flexible. Preferred arrival time is from 16.00 with departures by 10.00 but we will try and accommodate any special requests. Our local agent will meet you at the house, show you round & give you the keys

Confirmed bookings require a 20% deposit paid within 7 days of receiving bank details with the balance due 6 weeks before arrival. If less than 6 weeks the full payment must be made. Bookings that cross over different rates will be charge pro-rata.

Prices can also be made in sterling at the current Post Office exchange rate.
