Just 150m to the beautiful bay between Moraira and Calpe right on the Mediterranean Coast, supporting a beach and two beach bars.

Easy access by foot to other bays, beach bars and restaurants as there is a scenic path that takes you up and down the coast line.

Safe for children to swim, good snorkelling, and water sports.

The villa is positioned down a peaceful cul-de-sac, is detached with a large drive and has sea views.

The Pool has Roman steps with a night light for romantic midnight swims. A covered pergola with BBQ, outside kitchen, including a pizza oven, is set to the side of the pool with terracing, seating, loungers and dining areas

The villa has three large bedrooms, one double bedroom having en suite and it's own private terrace, the second bedroom with Swiss Beds and the last having two single beds.

There are two bathrooms and also a separate toilet, an American style kitchen with granite work tops and dishwasher, two washing machines, lounge with cream leather sofas and recliner, flat screen television providing Spanish, English Free To View and European TV, a dining area leads onto a terrace with large canopy for extra space if required straight from the lounge area. There are also two additional terraces offering a choice of private bathing, or just quiet areas in which to sit to take in the sea views or read in the peace and quiet.

There is a large gated large drive with garage

It is just a few minutes walk to two beach-bars directly on the Mediterranean seafront and only a short distance to a multitude of other beaches, beach-bars, supermarkets and a variety of bars, restaurants, shops, and beaches

There are many supermarkets within a few minutes drive and a great selection of restaurants and bars.

The Surrounding Area:

A car is not required to reach the bay with its small local beach and beach bar, and restaurant as these are all just a couple of minutes walk away.

However, a short drive will take you to the charming old fishing village of Moraira, with its many bars facing the beach and superb coastline. It has restaurants to suit all occasions and pockets, shops, market and marina.

Also there is Calpe, which boasts one of the longest promenades in Europe and which runs along wide sandy beaches. It also has a vast selection of restaurants, bars and shops.

There are so many villages and towns both along the coast, such as Altea and its Moorish church, Javea with the Old Town, port and beach, Denia with its castle walls, to more historical and rustic villages inland such as Jalon with its bodegas and free wine tastings, Alcali, Guadalest and so on.

More Activities are provided within 20-30 min away: One of the most entertaining towns especially for the young, is Benidorm with the massive Aqualand Theme park, Terra Mitica - a Paramount American style theme park, a wildlife theme park with dolphins and also so many restaurants, bars and an extremely active nightlife! There are most of the activities that you could possibly want to do on your doorstep, but in the end the favourite pastime seems to be having a cool drink by the side of the pool! There is a booklet provided to help guide you to find and enjoy any of the above activities and attractions.

Coast/Beach

Short walking distance (150m) to small bay, beach and beach bar. Excellent scuba, snorkeling, sailing and other water sports. There are also 2 other bays with beach and bars in very close proximity and wide selection of wide sandy beaches with children's play areas within a short drive. Hire of most water sports available.

Beautiful Villa in a superb location

Villa Maria is superbly located midway between Calpe and Moraira and just a two minute walk to the coastal pathway and the small sandy beach at Cala Abogat. There is a very friendly beach bar there which also serves snacks and the coastal pathway goes all the way to Calpe. There is a chinese restaurant a five minute walk from the villa and many excellent restaurants within a ten minute drive.

The villa has several terraces which means that whether you want to be in the sun or the shade there is always somewhere to go. The terrace at the front of the villa has great sea views and is the perfect place for breakfast. The Naya by the pool has both gas and charcoal barbeques and it even has a pizza oven!

The villa itself is very comfortable and incredibly well equipped and is in a very quiet location without being isolated. It was clean and well presented when we arrived and the owners, Anne and Norman, who live nearby, were very friendly and always available to sort out any minor problems.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Maria so much that we have already booked for next year. Kim & David

Perfect holiday

We stayed at Villa Maria for a week at the end of May with our 3 children aged 14, 12 and 6. We couldn't have wished for a better Villa to suit our needs. The property is well equipped with everything you could possibly need to make it a home from home. It was difficult to get the children out of the pool but when it got too hot outside the WiFi was excellent and the added bonus of Amazon TV meant they could pop inside to cool off and still be entertained. The outdoor cooking area, with both gas and charcoal bbq's, was superb. We visited a lovely Italian restaurant nearby called La Tartana that was reasonably priced and had a nice ambience. The Baladrar beach bar was very relaxing and has stunning sea views. The little beach bar in the bay by the Villa was perfect for the kids to have an ice cream whilst we enjoyed a fantastic cocktail or two! We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Maria. Anne and Norman couldn't be any nicer or more helpful and we wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

Lovely Villa

A lovely Villa just a short walk from a small beach. The Villa is exceptionally well equipped, in a quiet location with a sea view. It was spotlessly clean and with the owners Anne & Norman living just along the road there was absolutely nothing we wanted for. They were extremely knowledgable about the area and just a phone call or email away if we needed them. We had a wonderful holiday and just wish we didn't have to come home!

Lovely Villa, fantastic location, wonderful hosts

We have just returned from another great holiday in Moraira, Villa Maria is lovely, fantastic location being only about 2 mins from the gorgeous Cala Abogat with 2 beach bars and great for snorkelling. The villa itself is brilliantly appointed with everything you could need for the perfect holiday. Anne and Norman are a charming couple with a wealth of knowledge about the area and couldn't have been more accommodating. There is also the added bonus of only being a 15 minute walk from Cala Baladrar which has in our opinion one of the best beach bars in the area with great views, fantastic food and a real Spanish feel with its outside kitchen and live music. We very much hope to return... Thank you Anne and Norman! X

Beautiful Villa with Stunning Views

On arrival at Villa Maria we were greeted by Anne and Norman the Villa owners who very kindly showed us around the Villa and to the beach which was a 2 minute walk to the end of the street.

The Villa had everything you needed for a very comfortable stay, any problems Anne and Norman were very close at hand to solve them, not that we needed any.

The views from the patio upstairs is breathtaking, and the pool area has everything if you want to sunbathe or sit under the Pagoda for the shade.

There is also a roof terrace which we took advantage of with our Gin and Tonics of an evening.

Wonerful holiday ay Villa Marie

The quality of this accommodation was superb. Everything you would require to make your stay perfect was to hand and made for a most relaxing and enjoyable holiday. I could go on but lets just say if you want the perfect Villa in a perfect setting then you could not surpass this wonderful accommodation. We will most certainly stay here again when we next visit calpe

Moraira is situated in the beautiful mountainous area of the Costa Blanca right on the Mediterranean Caost. Moraira lies in a bay, on the South Eastern coast of Spain, between Javea and Calpe. Its coastline extends for 8 kilometres with a selection of fine sandy beaches and the occasional rocky inlet. The resort is conveniently placed between the airports of Alicante and Valencia with excellent motorway and coastal roads from both.

The sandy beaches in this area have been awarded the prestigious EEC Blue Flags for cleanliness, are well tended and very safe for family bathing.

Other local leisure facilities include many golf courses, tennis, football, squash, all water sports, boat hire and trips, horse-riding, go-kart racing tracks for both adults and children, a small fairground and night-clubs for all ages. There are many good quality restaurants and bars to cater for all ages and tastes.

Please note tha the beach bars only have a government license from 1st June through to 31st October.
