About the property

Spacious 3 bed/2 bath Villa & Pool, Sleeps 6, Mediterranean Sea Views,Tranquil

Just 150m to the beautiful bay close to Moraira, right on the Mediterranean Coast, with a beach and two beach bars.

From the villa you can walk to many other bays, beach bars and restaurants as there is a scenic footpath that takes you up and down the coast line.

Safe for children to swim, good snorkelling, and water sports.

The villa is positioned down a peaceful cul-de-sac, is detached with a large drive and has sea views.

The Pool has Roman steps and has a covered pergola with BBQ, paella outside kitchen and a pizza oven, set to the side with terracing, seating, loungers and dining areas to complete the setting.

The villa has three large bedrooms, one double bedroom having en suite and it's own private terrace, the second bedroom with Swiss Beds and the last having two single beds.

There are two bathrooms and also a separate toilet, an American style kitchen with granite work tops and dishwasher, two washing machines, lounge with cream leather sofas and recliner, flat screen television providing Spanish, English Free To View and European TV, a dining area leads onto a terrace with large canopy for extra space if required straight from the lounge area. There are also two additional terraces offering a choice of private bathing, or just quiet areas in which to sit to take in the sea views or read in the peace and quiet.

There is a large gated large drive with garage

It is just a few minutes walk to two beach-bars directly on the Mediterranean seafront and only a short distance to a multitude of other beaches, beach-bars, supermarkets and a variety of bars, restaurants, shops, and beaches

There are many supermarkets within a few minutes drive and a great selection of restaurants and bars.

The Surrounding Area:

A car is not required to reach the bay with its small local beach and beach bar, and restaurant as these are all just a couple of minutes walk away.

However, a short drive will take you to the charming old fishing village of Moraira, with its many bars facing the beach and superb coastline. It has restaurants to suit all occasions and pockets, shops, market and marina.

Also there is Calpe, which boasts one of the longest promenades in Europe and which runs along wide sandy beaches. It also has a vast selection of restaurants, bars and shops.

There are so many villages and towns both along the coast, such as Altea and its Moorish church, Javea with the Old Town, port and beach, Denia with its castle walls, to more historical and rustic villages inland such as Jalon with its bodegas and free wine tastings, Alcali, Guadalest and so on.

More Activities are provided within 20-30 min away: One of the most entertaining towns especially for the young, is Benidorm with the massive Aqualand Theme park, Terra Mitica - a Paramount American style theme park, a wildlife theme park with dolphins and also so many restaurants, bars and an extremely active nightlife! There are most of the activities that you could possibly want to do on your doorstep, but in the end the favourite pastime seems to be having a cool drink by the side of the pool! There is a booklet provided to help guide you to find and enjoy any of the above activities and attractions.

Coast/Beach

Short walking distance (150m) to small bay, beach and beach bar. Excellent scuba, snorkeling, sailing and other water sports. There are also 2 other bays with beach and bars in very close proximity and wide selection of wide sandy beaches with children's play areas within a short drive. Hire of most water sports available.

Moraira is situated in the beautiful mountainous area of the Costa Blanca right on the Mediterranean Caost. Moraira lies in a bay, on the South Eastern coast of Spain, between Javea and Calpe. Its coastline extends for 8 kilometres with a selection of fine sandy beaches and the occasional rocky inlet. The resort is conveniently placed between the airports of Alicante and Valencia with excellent motorway and coastal roads from both.

The sandy beaches in this area have been awarded the prestigious EEC Blue Flags for cleanliness, are well tended and very safe for family bathing.

Other local leisure facilities include many golf courses, tennis, football, squash, all water sports, boat hire and trips, horse-riding, go-kart racing tracks for both adults and children, a small fairground and night-clubs for all ages. There are many good quality restaurants and bars to cater for all ages and tastes.

Please note tha the beach bars only have a government license from 1st June through to 31st October.

Beautiful Villa in a superb location

Villa Maria is superbly located midway between Calpe and Moraira and just a two minute walk to the coastal pathway and the small sandy beach at Cala Abogat. There is a very friendly beach bar there which also serves snacks and the coastal pathway goes all the way to Calpe. There is a chinese restaurant a five minute walk from the villa and many excellent restaurants within a ten minute drive.

The villa has several terraces which means that whether you want to be in the sun or the shade there is always somewhere to go. The terrace at the front of the villa has great sea views and is the perfect place for breakfast. The Naya by the pool has both gas and charcoal barbeques and it even has a pizza oven!

The villa itself is very comfortable and incredibly well equipped and is in a very quiet location without being isolated. It was clean and well presented when we arrived and the owners, Anne and Norman, who live nearby, were very friendly and always available to sort out any minor problems.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Maria so much that we have already booked for next year. Kim & David

perfect in every way

The best equipped villa we have stayed in. Spotlessly clean and so welcoming. It was like home from home but with glorious sunshine. There were two balconies one with a sea view.

The barbecue area was great with a good gas barbecue (conventional one as well if wanted) The outdoor space was private and well enclosed.

The lovely small bay was a 4 minute walk with its own little café.

Anne and Norman were lovely, so helpful and friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble

I would recommend this property and hopefully we will be going back.

It was lovely to have met you Anne and thank you once again for your kindness

Lovely villa

Villa Maria is a very comfortable, spacious home from home with the added attraction of a pool and the local beach just a short walk away. The pool is perfect for young children who are still learning to swim and the small, sheltered local beach a great place to snorkel.It is very well equipped and as we enjoy self-catering we ate in and made the most of the BBQ. The locality of the villa is ideal, nestled in a quiet cove, with lovely sea views but with easy access to the main road roughly half way between Moraira and Calpe. A walk along the coastal paths makes for a pleasant change from the beach - the scenery is stunning, particularly towards Calpe and there are other coves to explore.However, if you are keen to experience the hustle and bustle of larger resorts it is not far to Benidorm and the attractions of Aqualandia and Mundomar. A tip though - book tickets on line for the previously mentioned places - you will get a cheaper deal. Altea, a pretty fishing port on the N332 between Calpe and Benidorm, is also worth a visit.

Above all we must thank our hosts Norman and Anne who made us feel so welcome and were always on hand to help and advise. We would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Maria to friends and family and hope to return one day.

Lovely villa in a beautiful location

Such a lovely, well equipped, comfortable Villa. A beautiful, private outside space with pool, which is cleaned regularly and kept in tip top condition by Ann, the owner. Ann and Norman live nearby and are always available for help or advice if needed, lovely friendly people. The villa is a very short walk from a lovely little beach, beach bar and restaurant, which is ideal for a relaxing holiday. We would not hesitate to book again and would strongly recommend Villa Maria to anyone. Hopefully we'll be back next year and the year after and the year after that.....😃

Wonderful experience.

Spectacular villa and nicest of hosts. This beautiful place is well located near lovely beach and cliff walks to Calpe.

Whether you want to spend your time enjoying all the facilities the villa has to offer or use this as abase to explore this lovely coastline.

Cannot fault this and would recommend it to one and all.

Beautifully kept and spacious villa, enjoyed poolside, afternoon sun overlooking the sea and the secluded bedroom terrace. Anne the owner is local, charmed us an gave us recommendations where to eat including an astonishingly cheap Chinese. We will return...Book this villa now!

A 25% deposit is requested to confirm the booking reservation, the remainder is then paid in full along with a £200 returnable deposit at a designated time.
There is an additional charge of £50 which includes linen and cleaning.
