Luxury four-bedroom house located in a village setting a short distance from Stirling. The house, which comfortably sleeps 8 people, is an ideal base for large families, groups of friends looking for a luxury break or a special occasion. It features a large lounge with a wood-burning stove, a sun room with access to the upstairs patio area and the outside decking in the ample 1 acre garden and pond area with BBQ and outside furniture. Three of the bedrooms are en-suite while the fourth has use of the large downstairs bathroom. The large dining/kitchen (separate 8 seat dining room) features large free standing fridge/freezer and two double ovens. The house also features a large downstairs game's room which includes: pool table, table-tennis, Wii console, Play station 3 console as well as 42 and 50 inch televisions. Excellent.

The property stands on an elevated site with manicured gardens and a lovely view across the valley. It has been finished to a very high standard and has both spacious bedrooms (3 with en- suites) and living spaces - the games area downstairs is huge. Having the lounge, dining, kitchen and conservatory (with outside sitting area as well) upstairs makes these spaces very light and airy. The kitchen is very well equipped with both dishes glasses and cooking utensiles. Our group had 4 cars and there was ample car parking space for them at the property. There are lots of things to do in the surrounding area with Stirling less than 10 miles away - the ladies in our group were keen shoppers and visited Livingston while the men played golf (lots of golf courses in the vicinity). Doune, Callander and the Trossachs are all just a short car journey away. Also lots of good eating places in the surrounding area (fish and chips carry out from Bridge of Allan was excellent). Would definitely recommend this property if you are looking to stay in the area.

From the moment we arrived we were overwhelmed with this we'll equipped house.

Words cannot describe the house.Equipped to cover everything!!The games room held many a pool and table tennis competition and the many other rooms were used for quiet times.Loved it!!Loved it!!!Loved it!!

6 adults and 2 children had a holiday of a lifetime in this well equipped and well thought out house. Luxery right down to the smallest detail. A basement Games Room provides a welcome antedote for inclement weather.

Burnside House- Fantastic Weekend

Wonderful family stay in charming village

Our family came from the U.S. to spend a week in this area and found both Burnside House and the villages of Deanston and Doune to be better than expected. The house was very clean and had everything that we needed. Beds were comfortable and having 4 bathrooms for the 8 of us was terrific. We found much to do in the area, including several days in the Trossachs, a day to see the sites in Stirling, and several nearby towns. We enjoyed walking in the local towns, especially the path to the Doune Castle. We enjoyed the Red Lion Pub in Doune and went back several times. We highly recommend the Burnside House.
