Montealmendros 3D is a luxury penthouse apartment on a small quiet complex of only 16 apartments set in the Benahavis Hills, near Puerto Banus. The high quality spacious apartment has hot and cold air conditioning, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan dinning/lounge and fully equipped modern kitchen and laundry (including fridge/freezer, dish washer and washing machine). It has a fantastic large balcony with dinning furniture and sun loungers which can be accessed via patio doors from both bedrooms and the lounge/dinning area. The balcony overlooks the complex's lovely gardens and large shared pool with stunning views across the hills to the sea. Set in a beautiful quiet location this apartment also has access to great facilities on the door step including a supermarket, bank, restaurants and taxi rank. The old town of San Pedro with shops & tapas bars is only 5 mins away. For fantastic night life, Puerto Banus is 10 mins away. The coast line with its stunning beaches is 10 mins away.

lovely apartment stunning views great pool area
This was a very good property a little away from the busy resorts,which suited us. Excellent situation for golfing walking cycling and sight seeing It is a secure well kept estate
The apartment itself was very spacious and well decorated and equipped the balcony area is a real bonus with stunning views. The only down side for us was the there was no satellite TV channels or access to wifi as keen followers of sport we were a little disappointed However we did have a good holiday
I would recommend this apartment for couples and families
Sizeable accomodation in a Peaceful Location
The property is located away from the busy resorts but is within easy reaching distance. Whilst taxi's were located nearby and I understand are reasonably priced, I would recommend a hire car, as the nearest facilities (shop, bank, restaurants) were a fair walk from the apartment and I think any stay at this particular department could be limiting without a car.
The apartment was extremely clean and we had no problem finding it from Beccy's instructions. The representative from the management company was there to greet us upon arrival. The communal gardens and pool serving the apartment were also well kept, although there is not a BBQ either for the sole use of property or at the communal area, as the property description would suggest - this was confirmed to us by a resident of the building. Fortunately, we were able to use disposal BBQ's on the ample sized terrace but do ensure you pack your own BBQ utensils.
The terrace faces south and we enjoyed very hot sun from early morning until after 6 at night. Whilst the terrace is absolutely fantastic for both sunbathing and enjoying the uninterrupted panoramic views reaching out to the sea, it afforded no shade and it was necessary for us to go out on our first day to purchase a parasol for use on the patio table.
We felt that the kitchen offered a good selection of cooking pots, pans and crockery and like the apartment on a whole, was very well laid out. I loved the attached separate utility area, which housed the washing machine and provided useful storage for bottled water etc.
Towards the end of the holiday, we were approached by a resident of a neighbouring building who was unhappy that we used the road for parking and rather forcefully insisted that we should contact the agent to request a key for the underground car park. This may be something the owner wishes to address for future guests?
My only complaint was the quality of the mattress on the beds. It felt like metal was sticking into my back and was really uncomfortable. As a consequence, I could hardly move the second day so painful was my somewhat vulnerable back! Even our 18 year old twins, who are usually indifferent, complained about the mattresses. Fortunately, we found quilts in one of the overhead bedroom cupboards and were able to use these as mattress toppers. I also think the owner should consider providing a rental contract at the booking stage for all round peace of mind.
All in all, we had a good stay & would reccomend.
the appartment was excellent! it was set in a lovely quite area, with friendly people around to help. the apparment was clean and very spacious. it had all the kitchen equipment and facilities we needed! and was a short walk from the local supermarket and restraunts. the pool was clean and there are plenty of sunbeds. great location to stay in as near to puerto banus and marbella! i would definatley go back again and would recomend it to anyone!
Activity and Interests
Montealmendros is situated in the beautiful Benahavis hills just off the Ronda Road near San Pedro. Locally (approx 1 mile) there is a supermarket, bank, restaurants, taxi rank & bus stop. San Pedro and Benahavis, both lovely old Spanish towns, are 5 mins away having plenty of shops, tapas bars and restaurants. San Pedro beach is 10 mins and other fantastic beaches can be found all the way along the coast line. Peurto Banus with its fabulous shops, bars, restaurants and night clubs is 10 mins (12 euros in a taxi). Marbella is about 20 mins away and also has fabulous shopping, bars, restaurants and great beaches. For Golfers, you are in the heart of some of the best courses in the area including Los Arqueros (5 min), La Zagaleta and La Quinta (10 min). Ronda, the stunning gorge town with a bull ring, is 45 mins away into the mountains. For Kids there are 2 Aquaparks in Torremelinos/Mijas, Crocodile Park in Torremelinos, Zoo at Selwoo and Tivoli World Theme Park (all about 25 mins).

- This penthouse top floor air conditioned (hot and cold) apartment is very spacious inside with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully fitted kitchen, an open plan lounge and dinning area and a laundry with washing machine. In addition it has a stunning large terrace balcony (40 metre squared) which has stunning views over the gardens and pool and looks out across the hills to the sea. The balcony has dinning furniture and 2 sun beds and is accessible from both bedrooms and the lounge/dinning area. The pool has a BBQ area and changing facilities/toilets. The apartment is very secure with outside shutters and dead locks on the doors. Advisable to book a car although it is easy to get taxis due to the near by taxi rank. There is also near by shops, supermarket, bus stops and banks.
