Our house is in Grand Turk not in Provo. It is 1.5 min walk from the beautiful beach. As seen in the photos, there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A loft with king bed and bathroom is on the upper level and 2 bedrooms with queen beds and bathroom are on the main level. A main level has open concept, kitchen, dinning room and living room. Kitchen is updated in 2020. With all windows you almost feel that you are outside, but mature tree in a backyard keeps the living space very comfortable. House is equipped with air conditioning in the living room, master bedroom and in each bedroom. Ceiling fans around the house and the mature tree in the backyard makes the house comfortable without the use of the AC, except maybe in hot summer months. There is a new deck built in 2017, 2 "zero gravity" chairs, hammock, bench and coffee table are added. A washing machine and an outside line for drying are provided. 2 bicycles, 3 beach chairs and beach umbrella are included.
The house is close to the beach, where a beautiful mature Casuarina tree is waiting for you. If you had been in a resort, you would likely be further away from the beach. Every evening enjoy beautiful sunsets since "our" beach is on the west side of the island. Our beach is great for swimming.
The house is nestled on the quiet island of Grand Turk, not in Providenciales, known as Provo. Grand Turk is smaller and less developed than Provo. Grand Turk is the capital island of the Turks and Caicos and offers world class snorkelling, fishing, diving, swimming, horseback riding, swimming with the sting-rays, spa treatments and most of all relaxation. The island is best known for it's spectacular wall for scuba diving. Whale watching from January to April is amazing.
All international flights fly to Provo (PLS). You need to take a short (25 min) panoramic flight from Provo to Grand Turk. Two airlines fly to Grand Turk from Provo, InterCaribbean and Caicos Express Airlines, $ 40 (approx) each way.
Transport from Grand Turk airport to the house is provided. Also, basic supply for your first breakfast is complementary.
