This brand new spacious penthouse apartment is the perfect holiday getaway with magnificient views into Lauterbrunnen Valley and the Breithorn. The large bedroom has a king size bed to comfortably sleep two and comes with parquet flooring. Another two guests can be added on the pull out couch in the sitting room. The sitting/dining area is tiled and the apartment has underfloorheating. The balcony has georgeous views into Lauterbrunnen Valley as well as to the Breithorn. A special view is featured by the skylight looking direktly on the famous Staubbach fall. High ceilings and wooden beams give the apartment a spacious but comfortable swiss chalet style feel.
The sitting area with dining table comfortably seats 4 guests. In the living area, tv and dvd player are provided. The brand new kitchen is fully equipped. There are two mountainbikes free for use as well as high speed internet with wireless option. On ground floor there is a heated ski and boot storage and parking is provided.
My wife, 9 year old daughter and I just returned from a fantastic trip in Switzerland. We stayed at this apartment for a week in July. Deniz, the owner, was very responsive during the booking process and was quick to answer any questions we had both before and during our stay. The apartment appears very new and all appliances were in good working order. It was also nice to have a washer/dryer. The views from the place are amazing. As you eat on the deck, you can enjoy the snow capped mountains and while your doing dishes at the kitchen sink you have a direct view of Staubbach Falls. The location is very convenient. The bus stop is literally right outside the front door and comes every half hour for most of the day. If you would prefer, its a short 10-15 minute walk into town or the Lauterbrunnen train station (uphill for part of the way). There are several options for buying groceries (bakeries, Coop supermarket, cheese shop, meat shop), or for eating out at hotel restaurants.
Prior to our trip, we had a tough time deciding where to stay. Lauterbrunnen turned out to be a great choice for us. It was very convenient to get to the Jungfraujoch, as this trip should be based upon the day's weather. It was also accessible to the waterfalls and many hiking trails in the area. And, if you would prefer to go into Interlaken or further, its a good jumping off point. As a point of reference, we went hiking around Gelmersee one day and this trip was very doable.
In summary, our family would highly recommend this apartment for its location, cleanliness, comfort and communicative owner. Thanks for a great week!
The pictures do not lie! This apartment was immaculate, spacious and very comfortable. The views were absolutely breathtaking as well. It was within walking distance to the village, train and restaurants. The owner was very friendly and so easy to work with. We will definitely return, as this area of Switzerland was so incredibly beautiful we almost can't believe it.
This lovely apartment is everything as advertised and more. I highly recommend this for travelers to the Lauterbrunnen area. It is a prefect base camp to adventure the entire area, a few minutes by bus from train connections everywhere, or a lovely 10 minute walk. Photos are accurate and show how spacious and comfortable and well-equipped the apartment is. The view of the falls and mountains is stunning. The owner is extremely helpful, responsive, knowledgeable, and I would highly recommend this rental. My only complaint: our stay was too short!
What a lifelong memorable experience we had in Lauterbrunnen. You will not believe how beautiful the surroundings are. It seems surreal. It is like your on a movie location. However, you are surrounded by working farms. There are has many tourist attractions, but has not lost it's small village appeal. We traveled to several areas in Switzerland, but this was our favorite.
We would like to mention the great help Deniz was to us in booking and the feeling that you already have a friend in your travel destination. I never once felt anxious about the foreign transactions for reserving the condo, etc.
The condo/apartment was as very nice, if not better, than advertised. GREAT VIEW, great location, everything you could want. Thank you Deniz
P.S. I had wanted to go Paragliding (Tandem) but the afternoon wind was not favorable. I stopped in the Airtime Cafe the next morning as we were leaving the area for Zermatt. The counter person remembered that I had been disappointed about not getting to go the afternoon before. She asked it I would like to go up today. I told her that we were leaving right away for Zermatt. She inquired around, and then came back smiling. "They can take you up right now". Thirty minutes later I was flying in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Another bucket list items checked off.

Staying at this apartment puts you in a perfect spot to appreciate the views of the valley and the sound of the waterfalls. This was a spectacular place to spend a honeymoon.
Also, Deniz was very friendly and helpful in terms of sharing her knowledge of the area and in terms of recommending activities.

We really had a great time at this apartment. The views alone are reason to stay. We enjoyed many evenings on the balcony enjoying a glass of wine while listening to the distant roar of the waterfall and admiring the color of the snow-capped mountains as the sun set in the distance. The apartment itself was very open and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and even had a fondue pot which we used one evening with cheese bought from the local COOP. Although the apartment is a short distance from Lauterbrunnen, it is easily accessible using the post bus stop next to the campground. However, we walked the majority of the time back and forth to town and the scenery was stunning. We would definitely return to this apartment when visiting Switzerland!
