About this property

We offer a six bedroom self catering house that can sleep 13 people. On our premises we have a indoor pool, indoor and outdoor braai facilities,a lovely heated jacuzzy and lovely lush gardens and a tennis court. Four (4) of the bedrooms have tv`s, Five (5) of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers toilets and wash basins. We offer a fully equiped kitchen that is shared by guests to be used as a self catering facility. We have a dining room that can seat 10 people at a time and a cozy lounge where you can sit and read a book infront of the anthracite heater during the cold winters. We have a R5.00 coin operated pool table to keep you busy.We also offer DSTV and Wi-Fi There are bicycles for hire to explore our beautiful little town. We are only about 9 km away from the Lesotho border and only 90km away from the afriski resort in Lesotho. This location is a wonderful location as a base point to explore the beautiful Eastern Freestae

My name is Marius Viljoen and i am the current owner of Drs Place Country Guesthouse. I used to work for Correctional Services for 27 years. I grew up in Boksburg in Gauteng and lived in Durban for 17 years. I am married and have 3 daughters and 2 grandsons. We relocated to Fouriesburgh in June 2016 after purchasing the property.
We opened our own bakery on the premises of the guesthouse so our guests wake up in the morning to the smell of fresh warm bread every day from monday to saturday.

Why they chose this property

Our property is situated only 9 km away from the Caledonspoort border post that leads into Lesotho. We are surrounded by the Maluti and witteberg mountains and we are also only 35km away from the very popular town called Clarens. We are also only 45Km from the Golden Gate national park.
