Recently refurbished and retiled apartment on the first floor of the popular Paloma Beach complex in Los Cristianos. It is on the quieter side of the complex away from any noise from the local bars and roads. From the good sized balcony there are pool,sea and mountain views and the well kept and colourful gardens are immediately below, perfect for a leisurely breakfast whilst watching the sun rise above the mountain. In the spacious lounge there are two larger sized single sofa beds, a 32' flatscreen digital television plus various Sky channels, subject to reception being available from the Paloma Beach satelites. Free wi-fi is available in the apartment. In the kitchen there is a fridge, oven,hob, microwave, toaster and kettle plus all the crockery & utensils that you will need. There are various lifts and stairs providing easy access. There is a safe in the apartment enquire at reception for details.

Why Kate chose Arona

We decided to buy the apartment on Paloma beach because it is a well run and nicely maintained complex with lots of other facilities close by.

What makes this apartment unique

We chose our apartment because it felt light and airy and from the balcony you overlook the pool and gardens and can even see the sea one way and the mountains the other. From the front door you can see the harbour.

We arrived at the Apartment to find it spotlessly clean. All amenities were supplied

And a large flat screen TV was there to cater for all the soaps etc you could have

Missed! The pool and pool area was also very clean and the staff worked very hard

to keep it so. The bar served a good variety of snacks with 'specials' served three or

four times weekly. Towels were changed on a three day basis and bedding weekly.

All in all we had a lovely two weeks at the Apartment and would not hesitate to return

Again.

Notes:
Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment because of the centralised smoke alarm system, however as the climate is good all year round it is possible to smoke on the balcony both during the day and in the evenings. Linen is changed weekly and towels every three to four days by the on site management company. Cots and high chairs can be provided for a small additional charge. The heated swimming pool and children's pool have a life guard permanently in attendance, there is also 24 hour security on site. The on site management at the reception are there to assist you with any problems you may encounter during your stay. For your convenience the apartment is equipped with an iron, iron board and hair-dryer. There is a safe in the apartment. Details for use can be obtained from reception.

Overall a good apartment but needs comfortable beds!

Very clean nice size apartment. Helpful staff. Well equipped kitchen and TV WiFi very good. Good location for beach and town. Many choices of places to eat. Pool and sunbathing areas immaculate. Pool very cold. Our twin beds were very hard and uncomfortable which was very disappointing.

Owner's Response: We are pleased that the guests found the apartment agreeable and well equipped as we try to keep it to a good standard. With regards to the beds we feel that this is just one area where we will have to put it down to personal preferences. If you like soft beds then yes they may be uncomfortable and visa versa if you like hard beds a soft bed would be very uncomfortable. Unfortunately you can't cater for all preferences in one apartment.

Simply Wonderful

Recently stayed in this apartment, having stayed at the resort several times previous. The apartment itself was spotless, with just about everything you could need for your holiday provided.

There is a very spacious balcony, that was wonderful to sit out and enjoy a morning cuppa or an evening g and t. Although sun bathing out there (balcony) was minimal because of its position, who needs it anyway when you have such a beautiful pool terrace area to lie out on. The pool area can get quite busy but there is ample space to pick your spot and while away your day.

Kate was absolutely marvellous, giving advice on eating places, tours etc. She made the booking procedure simple and straightforward with a map and instructions for access.

What prevented me giving 5 stars, just a little more sun on the balcony ( perhaps it was time of year) would have been nice and the beds could have been a little more comfy ( again perhaps it just wasn't suited for me but fine for someone else) . All in all a great holiday in a wonderful apartment.

Nice Apartment with good views

Me and my Partner have just returned from a weeks holiday.

The apartment is plenty big enough and very nice and comfortable.

We had a lovely time, weather was good.

Pool area was kept very clean, we only used the pool once, it was quite busy at times.

Great restaurant is called Chill Out, lovely cocktails, very tasty food and fantastic service, loved it.

Also a restaurant called Taurus, steaks were delicious and again service was good.

It was my first visit to Tenerife and I was not disappointed.

Thank you to Kate for her efficiency and advice when booking and thank you for the recommendations you gave me about the Chill Out Bar and the beautiful walks, much appreciated.

A great place to relax with all the home comforts you could want.

Unfortunately, in the two weeks leading up to our stay, my wife had been quite ill and we only decided to go ahead with our holiday at the last minute. I am very pleased to say that this proved to be a good decision as this apartment provided all that we could have asked for to have a pleasant relaxing week in the sun. The apartment is very well equipped, so much so that we couldn't think of any kitchen utensil or crockery that we would have needed which wasn't supplied. If there was a fault, the beds and pillows were a bit hard for our taste but we fully appreciate that it is impossible to get this right for everyone.

The apartment was very well sited on the Paloma Beach complex, of which our only complaint was that you had to pay for sunbeds and parasols - something we have not come across before, except on beaches.

Overall though, a great week in a lovely apartment. I would definitely return and would recommend to friends without hesitstion.
