Loved the Location!

  • 4 of 5

If you are looking for a great location in London, and you don't need fancy, you should consider this little flat. Great size for 2 people with pretty much everything you need. The bed was comfortable and it was nice having the very tiny but very efficient kitchenette. Also nice to have a sitting area. The bedroom is a good size with plenty of space for your clothing. The building itself is a little tired, with worn carpet and in need of paint. But once inside the flat itself it is nice and quiet and very clean. There are two flights of stairs to climb but that was not a problem. We felt safe at all times. The local area is full of some great pubs and small cafe's. There's a local market just down the street and the tube station is very close. All in all, this was a great place for the price we paid and we were quite happy with our choice to stay here.

Amazing Location, perfect cozy spot for 2

  • 4 of 5

My 12-year-old and I came to London for a week to do all things Harry Potter and to take in as many of the city's historic sites as possible while still getting some rest. I can't say enough about Samantha's kindness and helpfulness, both in the planning stages, and in working with us on both an early check-in and early departure. Samantha is extremely responsive. The flat had everything we need - kitchen with microwave and coffee maker, a comfy lounge area, and a separate bedroom with a comfortable bed. We were walking distance to the British Museum, British Library, numerous train stations to all sorts of places, West End theaters, the National Gallery, etc., etc. Thanks for a great visit!

Great location!

  • 4 of 5

OK......the apartment is not perfect. A little on the small side but when you're in London, you're there to sleep and shower. Samantha was so nice and accommodating. The location is PERFECT - a short walk to the theatre district, the river, etc. One thing on the sleep side, there is a club downstairs that plays loud music until midnight on some nights - it's a little annoying at first but really not that big of a deal as you'll be exhausted from long days. The bed was small but comfortable. This was our first time in London and we were a little overwhelmed thinking how we were going to get around. Well.....that is no issue at all. We literally walked everywhere, figured out the subway system, couldn't be easier - one bit of advice, bring good walking shoes! The subway stop for the flat is literally 2 blocks away. If you don't want to walk, there are buses everywhere taking you wherever you want to go. A few of our "must do's" from our trip....Portobello market in Notting Hill a must. Hit a play or two! We loved the Borough market on the river. We love shopping in the Marylebone area - great little restaurants as well. And, of course, all of the historic sites - Tower Bridge is cool, Westminster Abby, Houses of Parliament, etc. etc. All of this within 15 minutes walking or on the tube. Overall, LOVED London and we will be back!

Five star property in five star locaion

  • 5 of 5

I stayed in Samantha's apartment in early December for six nights, and it would have to be one of the nicest private rental apartments I have stayed in. It is larger and brighter than the photos suggest and very well organised - I had everything I needed for my stay without it every feeling crowded or cluttered. The kitchen is compact, but again had everything I needed and it was great to have a washing machine in the apartment. Communication was very straightforward with Samantha, who kindly checked in with me during my stay. It is up two flights of stairs, however they are normal width stairs - not the usual narrow ones you often find in Europe - so there was no issue getting my (stuffed!) suitcase down the stairs when I left. The location is great - close to Oxford street, Tottenham Court Road, various supermarkets, multiple tube stations and endless number of cafes and restaurants. There is a bar in the basement of the building, but it is not open very late so noise was not an issue. I was staying on my own and felt very comfortable in the area. I have no hesitation in recommending Samantha's apartment, and would love to go back one day, but stay for longer next time so I can try more of the local food!

In the middle of everything and that's a good thing ...

  • 5 of 5

Great location as it allows you to access multiple tube locations. Additionally, it is in close proximity of many bars , restaurants , etc. for easy access to meals and nightlife. And lastly, Sam is extremely detail oriented and will make you feel welcomed upon arrival. Will stay here again on my next trip.
