About this property

Clean, comfortable 1 bedroom garden level suite with private entrance, patio, and garden. Close to everything Vancouver has to offer - shopping, restaurants, recreation and the Canada Line subway to downtown and the airport all a short walk away.

Four bus lines run very close, taking you directly to Downtown, UBC, Stanley Park, Granville Island, etc. If you arrive by car, there is free parking just outside the door.

BC's major health centres, Vancouver General Hospital, BC Cancer Agency, and BC Children's Hospital are all within 15 minutes walking distance.

This is a great location for families, with a nice park across the street with playground, fitness center, running track, and splash pool in summer. Free family oriented concerts every Thursday evening in the summer! Hillcrest Olympic Rec Center is also close by, with a large pool (indoor and outdoor), skating rink, library, etc.

Local shopping and restaurants are only 500m away, in Cambie Village. Other shopping districts are also within just a few km: Main Street, South Granville, Granville Island, and the large Oakridge Mall.

When you are not out in the city, enjoy the peaceful private patio with a view of the park and mountains!

The apartment is very quiet and private, with a queen size bed in the bedroom and a sofa in the sitting room that converts to a second queen-sized bed. A single mattress or a portable crib can be supplied on request. The bathroom has grab bars installed in the bath tub, making access easy and safe. Clean linens and towels are provided, and housekeeping services during the stay are available if desired. Guests also have free access to a shared laundry room.

The living room has been recently updated with a 55" flatscreen TV.

Very clean, warm and comfortable

Perfect spot for accessing downtown. Very quiet lovely view over the park. I would recommend it to friends visiting Vancouver.

Comfortable apartment in a lovely neighbourhood

We really enjoyed staying here, good position for getting both to the university and downtown. The sitting area outside and the park opposite all enhanced our stay. No view really from the property but lovely outlook over the park from the front garden. Adequately equipped, clean and practical for our needs. Good privacy. We loved the area and ate well in Cambie village. Hope to return.

Home From Home in a picturesque peaceful neighbourhood

This apartment truly is a home from home. It has just about everything you could possibly need for a stay in Vancouver. It's a very comfortable place in the perfect location. There is a supermarket just a 10 minute walk away and the train line into town is also a short walk in the other direction. There is a park opposite which makes for pleasant views especially if you sit out in your own little garden. There is a table and chairs outside that we spent a few evenings at watching the sunset through the trees. You can also see the top of Grouse Mountain through another gap in the branches. All in all, we had a very relaxed stay and would certainly stay here again when we visit Vancouver in a few years time!! Highly recommend it!!

Cannot recommend this place enough!

We stayed here in June, 2 adults and a toddler. The apartment was lovely, clean and child friendly for our toddler and Jamie provided a highchair and crib for us. The best thing though was the location. It's in a really nice neighbourhood and right on Douglas Park which has a lovely playground that our son loved. There were a lot of baseball practices and games in the park which we loved watching and it was nice to sit out the front of the house in the evening and take it all in. We hired a car and had no problems parking at the house. We drove to a lot of attractions and none were very far away, but we also walked to a few places too. If we ever moved to Vancouver this is definitely where we'd want to live! Thanks for a great week!

Beautiful Place

This beautiful suite was our holiday base whilst visiting friends in the amazing city of Vancouver and it was perfect for us. It was clean and well equipped with everything thought of by Jamie the owner to make us feel welcome. The quiet location was great, having lovely views of the park, yet only a short walk to the Skytrain. We would definitely go back or recommend this gem to friends or family.
