A sweet, newly-renovated 2 BR 1st floor apartment with air conditioning on a residential street in the heart of the village of Bar Harbor. Chez Acadia is as convenient as it can be to the village parks, shops, restaurants and bars--you can leave the car in the off-street parking area and walk all over the village on pleasant summer evenings, then return to a very comfy, charming home. And as a base camp for your explorations of Acadia National Park (less than a mile away) and Mt. Desert Island, it is ideally-located.

New for 2021 Chez Acadia now has air conditioning.

All on one floor--with hardwood floors throughout--you will enjoy a pleasant living room with comfy furniture, cable TV/DVD, a dining room that accommodates 4, a quaint, fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds. Plenty of windows make the apartment light and bright, and the owners are upstairs if you need anything.

Spend evenings relaxing on the covered front porch, with dining table & chairs and comfy porch furniture--our famous cool, breezy evenings are perfect after a day of hiking, biking and touring Acadia National Park. You'll want to come back each year and make this your place in Acadia.

Perfect in so many ways!

This is a charming rental property on a quiet street, within walking distance to everything. There was plenty of room for the four of us. It was also nice to be able to walk to the busses for the park, downtown shops and restaurants, the sand bar to Bar Island, and the grocery store. We also enjoyed relaxing on the front porch.

A great place with a great location. We give it 5 out of 5 stars!

A great house with a fantastic location. Everything in town is within waking distance from Chez Acadia. The couple that own the house live upstairs and are super. They made us feel right at home. The house is well outfitted and we couldn't have been happier with the setup. When we return to Bar Harbor this is the place we will stay again. That tells you how satisfied we were!!

Our Happy Place

This was my wife and I first visit to Bar Harbor and we enjoyed our week. Our stay at Chez Acadia only enhanced the stay. It provided us a homely feel away from home. Chez Acadia was recommended to us by a co-worker and I would highly recommend it to anyone who would be visiting the Bar Harbor area.
