This lovely modern villa is located in a quiet, closed residential neighbourhood, walking distance from Carvoeiro town center and beach, standing on own 1044m² grounds, complete fenced in. Already from almost any position in garden(extended grass areas, ideal for kids!!) but especially from balconies nice views into evergreen valley. The living room is spacious and sunny with fire place, WIFI and Sat TV, there is also a dining area. Lounge leads out to a covered terrace with awnings, access from here to (heated) 5 x 10m pool, surrounded by terraces with sun beds, BBQ area + shower. This young villa furthermore has three bedrooms, all with built in wardrobes, guest toilet, 2 bathrooms(1 en-suite) and a very small children’s (bed)room with built in wardrobe. One bedroom(en-suite) has own covered terrace leading to swimming pool area, two other bedrooms both can use an ample balcony. All bedrooms with shutters so possibility to darken off. The modern and very specious kitchen is well equipped. Due to own outside entry upper level can be used as independent 2 bedroom-unit with kitchenette + bathroom.

Nice house in very good location

The house is situated on a very quiet road on the outskirts of Carvoiero. It has a large pool (which we paid to be heated and was just the right temperature) and good sunloungers, with plenty of grassed areas and a large BBQ. The house is not overlooked and there is a nice view across the valley. Inside the rooms are good size very clean and well furnished, with nice TV (only news chanels in English) and very good wifi. House is alarmed and has a safe. Kitchen was well equiped apart from not having an oven just a multifunction microwave which had a small capavcity. There were lots of cups, plates ,glasses, cutlery etc. but no plastic pool side crockery. The bedrooms were comfortable and each equiped with a fan, which was alright in May but I suspect aircon would be better in high summer.

It was a short walk to the local mini-market which was well equiped and a five minute drive to two large supermarkets. A ten minute walk downhill took you into the village which was very nice not too busy and with lots of restaurant choices. We found the return walk quite easy but there is a short steep hill at first, with taxis waiting at the bottom if needed.

This is a nice comfortable house for a family holiday well positioned for all the central Algarve attractions, in a very peaceful and relaxing location.

Fantastic Vivenda Vista em Vale

We have just spent a wonderful 18 days at Vivenda Vista em Vale and were very impressed with this spacious villa. Jeroen made the booking process incredibly easy and on arrival at Faro we rang the number provided and were given the code for the key box and alarm meaning we didn’t have to stop and collect a key from elsewhere. On arrival at the villa we were more than happy with what we found. The photos of the interior do not do it justice! The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery and cutlery. The living room is light and airy and we were surprised to see a large leather sofa which comfortably sat the four of us if we wanted to watch a movie. There is a separate utility room with a freezer and washing machine and also a separate downstairs toilet. There is a large rotary dryer in the garden which was also a relief as some villas provide a washing machine but nowhere substantial to hang the washing!

The master bedroom is located on the ground floor and has a large king size bed and spacious ensuite bathroom. This bedroom has patio doors to the pool area. Upstairs there are a further two bedrooms - one double and one with twin beds and a balcony. Also upstairs there is a further bathroom and large veranda for enjoying the beautiful views. All the windows have shutters so you can leave the windows open during the night whilst having the security of the shutters. There is no air conditioning in the villa but this wasn’t a problem as there are plenty of good quality fans and being high up it gets a lovely breeze.

The villa is located on a huge corner plot and has fabulous uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside. The area has a very safe, upmarket feel and is very peaceful. It is an easy ten minute walk into town via Rua de Cerro which brings you directly onto Restaurant Hill where we found some excellent restaurants. Also on Rua de Cerro is a small, well stocked supermarket which we found was actually cheaper than the ones in town. It is an easy walk on a morning the get fresh bread and pastries.

The pool area is fabulous with plenty of sunbeds and the pool guy came every couple of days to clean the pool. The bedding and towels were changed once a week by the very friendly maids who also gave the bathrooms a clean. Plenty of spare towels were also left for inbetween their visits.

We really had a fantastic holiday at this villa and would recommend it 100%.

Peaceful location in Carvoeiro

We have stayed in Carvoeiro 10 times now and thought we knew it well but this is villa is probably our favourite location. It is as ten minute walk from the centre of Carvoeiro and is admittedly a bit of a climb but it is well worth it for the peaceful location, views of the valley and welcome breeze. We only hired a car for three days as we were able to walk to the beaches in Carvoeiro and Centianes and most evenings we wandered down to enjoy the wide range of bars and restaurants. Our particular favourites were Elle and Ella, Imprevisto, Cafe Fino and Boneca at Algar Seco. From the bus stop five minutes away from the villa we were able to travel to Lagos and Lisbon relatively cheaply. We enjoyed several days just making use of the pool and garden both of which were clean and well maintained. THere are plenty of loungers and the eating area adjacent to the barbecue was spacious and comfortable. The villa is very clean and in good condition. As well as the cleaners thoroughly cleaning the villa for our arrival they also visited several times during our stay to clean the bathrooms and change the linen. We were pleased with the amount of space in the villa and appreciated the separate downstairs toilet and utility room and even a mini kitchen upstairs with its own fridge. the main kitchen was well equipped with good supply of crockery and utensils. From the initial enquiry onwards we received excellent service from Jeroen and he dealt quickly and efficiently with our queries including arranging a smooth airport transfer for us and a short term car hire for us mid way through the holiday with the car being delivered to and collected from the villa. We would recommend this villa as an excellent location for a family or group of adults who enjoy peaceful surroundings as well as being only 10 minutes walk away from the beach, bars and restaurants and well placed for visiting towns such as Lagos, Silves and Portimao.

What a fabulous villa

Firstly I would like to thank Jeroem (Algarvacation) for all his help with the booking procedure , it was quite easy and also to Tatiana on our arrival , we were able to go straight into the villa has it was not occupied on the previous week.

What a fantastic villa, the pictures on the website were spot on

Such a spacious property in a quiet location situated on a corner plot. We have had a wonderful weeks holiday wishing it was longer. The villa has everything you could wish for, two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom a modern kitchen diner a large lounge with a dining area. Outside was a large swimming pool,sun loungers and another dining table and chairs.

The villa was very well equipped with everything you could wish for, the villa was about 10 minutes walk to a local supermarket which was very convenient. The walk down to the town is quite hilly so we would walk down and get a taxi back as it only cost 5 euros, we frequented a couple of good

Restaurants (Taste and the Wolf Grill) and would definetly recommend these restaurants.

Carvoeiro certainly surprised us it was larger than we thought

There were plenty of shops, restaurants and bars and a nice beach

During our week we had the gardeners, pool man and two lady cleaners turn up which was a really good surprise, can not fault the rental companies excellent service.

We chose this villa because we normally go on city holidays but had decided after various illnesses that we needed to completely relax , the villa gave us this completely, what a superb holiday we had, we will be returning sometime in the future.

Perfect pad for a week in beautiful Carvoeiro

We have been coming to Portugal during May half-term week for the last 5 years and this is the best villa we have stayed in. Ideally situated, just a short stroll from 'restaurant hill' in Carvoeiro, but also quiet and fairly private in the garden and pool. Everything worked first time, from the exact coordinates to find the property, to the pool heating, the TV and the Wifi. The pool heating was very effective and it was a pleasure to step into the pool. There was also a lovely grassy area where we played Frisbee, boules and football. We also used the built-in barbeque in the garden and the kids declared it one of their favourite meals whilst we were away! The kitchen was well equipped with fridge and freezer large enough to accommodate drinks and food. We made use of the washing machine, the dishwasher and clothes line all of which worked well. The kids used the upstairs bedrooms - sometimes sharing, sometimes having their own space, leaving the adults the en-suite room on the ground floor with sliding doors out to the pool area. The agents ensured everything was ready for us to use, that we could find the property easily (which is not always the case) and were very accommodating about arrival and departure times. We have never yet booked the same villa twice, but I think next year will be an exception of this one is available. Thanks for a fantastic week.

Lovely modern Villa in excellent position

We have stopped in Carvoeiro for the last 12 years in various Villas around the town.This Villa is in an excellent position 10 minutes away from the centre with a steep hill to negotiate.The Villa is clean and smart with a great lawned area and a fantastic big swimming pool .Jeroen provided us with all the information needed, payment was easy and everything ran smoothly.In fact we had such a great time we are hopefully looking to book again next year 2016.

This villa is situated in a quiet urbanisation on one of the highest hills of Carvoeiro, one can walk down to the atmospheric centre of town in just a few minutes, also the beach is within walking distance. The urbanisation consists solely of detached pool villas, there are no evening- and night activities, population is mix of international residents and tourists, The urbanisation is much appreciated for its high and quiet hilltop location, mostly offering nice sea- and country views, also favourable is the short distance to town centre, beach, several golf courses and Carvoeiro Clube de Tennis. As it is a closed resenditial area there is hardly any traffic, only the few people who live there use street so a quiet surrounding is ensured. Carvoeiro is a traditional fishermen´s village, fortunately having kept an authentic atmosphere over the years, making it to one of the most popular villa holiday destinations in the Algarve. The centre looks down onto a small beach bay enclosed by rock formations, Praia do Carvoeiro, slopes with original building style properties enclose this picturesque scenario, its square is renowned. This little square right in front of the beach with numerous restaurants and bars around it is an absolute must to stroll around. In Carvoeiro huge tourist complexes have never been allowed, herewith ensuring the lovely village character which makes Carvoeiro so popular amongst both residents as well as tourists, offering renowned ice creams almost at the beach square, furthermore a wide variety of Portuguese- and international cuisine restaurants.

Still an attraction is the little municipal market(5 minute walk) adjoining the famous "restaurant hill" where you will find a huge selction of (international - and Portuguese food) restaurants. At the market you can buy fresh bread, meat and fish daily, the 'bica' (traditional Portuguese espresso) cannot be left untried. At its two centre beaches, Praia de Carvoeiro and Praia do Paraiso, several traditional fishermen´s boats invite to go and see the caves - you see beautiful rock formations and caves, made by the 'hands of nature', especially at low tide, especially from the sea you have a fantastic view over the impressive Algarve coast line with its golden sand beaches and magnificent rock formation raging up to 50m vertically out of the Ocean.

Golf: Golf is definitively the most popular sport in the Algarve, no wonder when realising the climatological conditions all year round and the exceptional beauty of lay outs (most of them by famous international golf architects) and surroundings. Read below a selection of some golf courses in your region out of the Algarve' approximately 40 golf courses; . Closest to villa is Vale do Milho Golf, a 9 holes 3 par course, great to practice your short game, often promotional prices are being offered. Just west of carvoeiro are Gramacho - + Pinta Golf course, 36 holes in total, driving range available. North of Portimao you will find Golf do Morgado; recently opened, almost a 1000 acres, making it one of the biggest golf courses in the Algarve. Fantastic scenery, pure nature, no villas/apartments but 6 lakes, hills, valleys, 1000's of olive, carob and fig trees, the unspoilt Algarve! Palmares Course, West of Alvor: the breathtaking scenery can be appreciated from most of the course, with views over the Alvor river estuary, beaches and the bay of Lagos. There are 5 authentic links holes amongst the dunes close to the ocean exposed to the prevailing winds. Other holes throughout hillsides and valleys full of trees. Penina Course, West of Portimao: it has hosted the Portuguese open 8 times and is built on flattish parkland terrain with fairways lined by countless trees and with tricky water hazards. Also several long par-3 and par-4 holes, requiring both length and accuracy.

One can reach about 15 Golf course within half an hour driving!

Sport / leisure: In a region with such a large ocean front, the Algarve offers almost every activity you can think of related to (the use of) water. Also for the ones who are not particularly keen to be in or around water, there are plenty of activities to spend a wonderful time in the Algarve! For around 20 years we have been working together with one and the same car rental provider, a very reliable company with a personal service and all inclusive prices, which until now has served all our customers to the greatest satisfaction. Big advantage in comparison with many other providers; you will not have to join queues to reach a counter and using a shuttle-service to reach your far away car (at departure you have to calculate a lot of extra time for car hand-in and the shuttle-service), here you will be personally welcomed by member of staff and escorted to your car on the airport car park (at 100m of arrival/departure terminal, where you can also leave your car on the day of departure).
