2 bedroom apartment sleeping 4 close to the Shore district of the city
This brand new 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment is in superb condition having only recently been built. Apartment 3 is on the first floor (one flight of stairs) and apartment 5 is on the second floor of this new apartment block and comes with parking. The accommodation is very comfortable providing a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a twin bedroom. There is another bathroom together with a combined living room and well equipped kitchen which has a host of appliances including a washer dryer.
The property is located in the Leith area of the city on Barleyhill Terrace, and is a short walk from 'The Shore' with its great selection of waterfront bars and restaurants. The apartment is a 10 minute drive from the city centre or about 20 minutes by bus, of which there is a regular bus service a minute's walk from the apartment. Free wireless internet access is provided.

Convenient and comfortable
The unit was clean and comfortable with lots of natural light. I was a little disappointed there was no hand soap to wash hands or tissue in the unit when we arrived. We went and bought some first thing. There also wasn't a pairing knife in the kitchen, only butter knives and a bread knife. However, the location was quite good for every major point in the city. There was a Bus stop just a few blocks, but we walked everywhere. It was also close to several parks and grocery store. We had a very enjoyable stay.
first rate accommodation in Edinburgh
Our family of four enjoyed a three night stay in this apartment. It's modern, clean, and well supplied with everything you need for an enjoyable visit. The location is excellent - not far from grocery stores and the city center. It wasn't a long walk to the nearest beach. We were also pleased with how quiet it was; we'd expected such a central location to be noisy at night, but we slept soundly in the comfortable beds. It was great to have free parking right outside, and the kids loved the reliable wifi. We enthusiastically recommend this apartment!
Clean, tidy, good for Royal Yacht & dockside area visits & good bus route to Castle/Princes St/shops
Modern with good provisions, comfortable.
A real bonus to have parking outside the door.
We visited Royal a Yacht, Fishers restaurant and Kings Wark pub. All were great.
No 25 bus took us from a bus stop by back gate to Princes St and beyond, after which we walked to Castle.
In just three days we achieved much and will return to flat if we return to Leith area.
Trip was planned at v short notice and Francois was flexible about arranging time for us to receive keys.
Comfortable, clean, spacious
We were pleased with the apartment which was clean and well maintained. There were 2 genuine double bedrooms, a reasonable sized living room and a fairly well equipped kitchen (a few more glasses please!). The area was quite and safe, with bus stops and convenience store very close by, and we found a great little café/restaurant on the corner opposite Leith Links. Communication with the owner was good. It was easy to get to the centre by bus or taxi (£10-£15). We would stay here again when visiting Edinburgh.
A lovely apartment
We stayed in this lovely apartment for a week for the Fringe Festival. Th beds were really comfy and the flat was spacious and sunny. Francois, the landlord was very helpful.
We arrived by train so used the buses to get into town. The number 25 stops right outside and there's a good frequent service. It takes 20 mins to get to Princes Street.
