Miraflores is an exclusive urbanization which lies between Malaga (20 min drive) and Marbella (10 min drive) close to Riviera del Sol urbanization. The name of the resort means “Look at the flowers” in Spanish; and the resort is full of beautiful gardens, waterfalls and streams to enjoy. The villas are beautifully designed and reflect the typical whitewashed houses of a traditional Spanish village. Taxi rank and bus stop is nearby (500m distance), offering easy access to Marbella, Puerto Banus, Fuengirola, Benalmadena and Malaga Airport).

The stylish duplex penthouse, suited for 4-6 persons, is centrally located in a gated community, with commanding and spectacular views towards tropical gardens, several pools, and a private pool club/bar. It faces south to the Mediterranean Sea as well as south-west.

The penthouse is on two levels (with the indoor accommodation on both levels). It features 2 full bedrooms, 1 and ½ bath with sun beds and patio furniture that offers breathtaking views

Eating out and night life: Miraflores boasts several eateries within the resort. You can opt for some traditional Spanish dishes or partake in some well love international cuisine from countries such as Britain, France, Mexico, India and Italy.

David’s Bar – Entertainment (Booze)

La Terrazza – Italian Restaurant – excellent.

Miraflore’s Golf Restaurant – Excellent – traditional Spanish – very classy.

Sol y Sombre ( Antonio’s Bar) – great with kids - good food – good price (David Beckham’s local Bar)

Many of the restaurants have live entertainment to keep you occupied whilst you eat your meal. They are all open till late Calahonda also has a fine selection of cafés and restaurants.

Evenings in the Miraflores resort are a quiet affair with visitors enjoying a bite to eat and some laid on entertainment. If you are looking for a more vibrant night out, Calahonda has several nightclubs, bars and discos.

Local atractions: The Aztec Centre is a 6 minute walk from the apartment and is in the heart of Riviera del Sol. The Centre features a sporting complex with very good facilities. Olympic sized swimming pool, 7 tennis courts, badminton courts, mini golf and a gymnasium, not to mention the beauty salon/hairdressers and physiotherapist. It is open to non residents and provides not only excellent reasonable priced food, but evening entertainment for all ages. A newly constructed and state of the art internet centre and games room caters for all ages.

Cabopino with fabulous beaches, marina and a dozen lovely restaurants and bars is a 5 minute drive. This is where “El Dorado” was filmed.

Mijas, a little white washed village with lots of arts and craft shops and the most amazing views of the coastline is 20mins by car. A tax free shopping trip and to see the infamous monkeys, Gibraltar is only a 30 min drive away. The Alhambra Palace in Granada is 1hr 15 min drive, Cordoba – 2 hours, Sevilla – 2,5 hours

Horse racing: Horse racing is a huge added attraction to the Costa del Sol's favourite holiday destination. The Hippodrome Costa del Sol has two tracks, with floodlighting for night racing, and a grandstand accommodating 5000 spectators; in addition we have track side seating for a further 5000.

The prize money is the highest in Spain and the season lasts throughout the winter months when most other tracks are closed. Our racing season is October to May.

The Hippodrome is only twenty minutes from Malaga International Airport and within easy reach of beaches, hotels and golf courses of Mijas and La Cala.

I live in Canada with my husband and our 2 sons. We both work and spend our summer holidays for the last 19 years in Europe.

Spain is always part of our trip since it is our first 'love'. We also visit the Caribbean Islands but Costa del Sol offers us sun and memories within reach. This made us buy a property in the area.

The 2 duplex penthouse units are centrally located in a gated community in adjacent to Miraflores - Albamar Urbanization, with commanding and spectacular views towards tropical gardens, 3 pools, and a private pool Club/Bar.They face South respectively South-East towards the Mediterranean Sea.

Great stay in a lovely apartment !!

The property was very accurately described and is a clean, modern and well equipped apartment. There were a small number of shops bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk.

A 10 minute walk downhill takes you to the resort centre with more bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. The beach is only a couple of minutes beyond that.

The balcony overlooks the pool area and the sea beyond it. The complex has mature gardens, lovely grounds and was very quiet.

The stairs leading to the second bedroom are steep and the hilly location would be a challenge for those less mobile.

The location si great and we travelled to Gibraltar (1 hour), Marbella (15 mins) and Mijas Pueblo (20 mins). Fuingerola is approx 15 mins.

The week we spent here was very hot and the air conditioning was a real blessing. There is also a sun terrace, however, it was too hot to use this !!

As a mature couple, use to travelling and having experienced many varied properties, we would thoroughly recommend this apartment - enjoy !!

We stayed here in a group of three 30 year olds for 5 nights of chill out. Location is ideal, the property is spot on, and we will definitely look to be using it again.

It is ideal for nearby golf courses. A short taxi journey takes you to La Cala beach (which was our preference of the local beaches), and likewise taxi's for a few nights into Puerto Banus were not terribly pricey.

The balcony and roof terrace are excellent, and views superb.

The pools, though we rarely used, were very good, and a real bonus having a bar/cafe within the grounds of one of them.

Mirela and Gabriel were extremely helpful throughout, and I could recommend them, or their apartment high enough.

As a last point, please make sure you try Las Llaves restaurant in La Cala. It is outstanding!

We stayed here with our two children (12 and 11) for two weeks over the Easter period. The apartment was clean and tidy and the view was fantastic from the balcony. Having the roof terrace was a bonus to catch the last bit of sun! We didn't hire a car as we wanted a relaxing holiday but you can easily reach taxis and a bus within walking distance (approximately 10/15 minutes) which we did a few times. Supermarket, Internet Cafe, a few restaurants all within 5 minutes walk. The gardens are lovely and well kept and the children liked to walk through here when going to the supermarket so we could stop and look in the little pond which had frogs (much to their amusement). Mirela and Gabriel couldn't of been more helpful and respond very quickly. They were both very informative and there is information in the apartment from restaurants to days out too. Damage deposit was returned promptly and our overall stay from booking to returning home was perfect. Thank you Mirela and Gabriel for making us feel welcome :) We will definitely be back.

Tolle Ferienwohnung in gepflegter Anlage

Zur Anlage: große Anlage, sehr gepflegt, sehr sauber, Anfang Mai auch noch sehr ruhig. Gut zu erreichen und guter Ausgangspunkt zu den verschiedenen Sehenswürdigkeiten, zum Strand und zu Geschäften/Restaurants usw.

Die Ferienwohnung selber ist sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet, besitzt alle erforderlichen Annehmlichkeiten, ist sauber. Am besten hat uns die große, sonnige Terasse mit schönem Blick auf die Anlage gefallen.

Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr freundlich, alle Anfragen wurden schnell beantwortet. Wir erhielten auch viele nützliche Tipps zum Essengehen z.B.

Insgesamt hat es uns so gut gefallen, dass wir damit rechnen dieses Objekt zukünftig nochmal zu buchen. Können wir mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen!!!

Schöne Aussicht, tolle Wohnung

Für einen einwöchigen Golftrip haben wir eine passende Unterkunft mit zwei Schlafzimmern für zwei Personen gesucht und diese tolle Wohnung über zwei Stockwerke gefunden. Wir hatten zwar ein wenig Probleme mit der Stromversorgung (es war ungewöhnlich kühl in dieser Woche, weshalb wir meist zwei Heizungen laufen lassen mussten), ansonsten war aber alles tip top! Schöne Aussicht aufs Mittelmeer, gute und ruhige Lage, gute Ausstattung - alles hat reibungslos geklappt. Danke dafür!

The 2 apartments are very well suited for families with/without kids. Each block has 6 apartments, 4 on ground floor and 2 penthouse duplex-es, it is quiet yet having all amenities in walking distance.

Miraflores, one of the most beautiful private resorts from the South of Spain, located a few km away from Marbella, toeing in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, looking towards the mountains of Morocco.

Golfers will absolutely love this resort as it boasts a splendid 18 whole golf course. Other sporting facilities available include tennis, bowling, swimming, horse riding, go carting, jet skiing and sailing.

Golf: Mijas Costa has 4 other Golf Courses; El Chaparral Golf course at La Cala De Mijas, La Cala golf, Santana Golf and Mijas Golf Course which boasts two 18 holes courses. Los Lagos is a mainly flat course with wide fairways and fast small greens, suitable for the more demanding players.
