perfect family stay

We came for a Charleston getaway with our two toddlers and an infant, and this location was perfect! It was close to everything that we love (Sullivan's Island, Shem Creek, downtown Charleston), felt like it was in a very safe neighborhood, and we were so impressed with how clean the home was! You tend to notice a lot of things you otherwise wouldn't with toddlers who climb under everything and are all over the floors, but this home was impeccable regarding cleanliness. The bed was really comfortable and the kitchen had everything that we needed for the meals that we did cook. Highly recommend staying here!

Great Quiet Home

I stayed at this house to recover from some surgery. I was able to sleep quietly and have the food I needed in the well furnished kitchen. Having two family rooms really helped when my family wanted to watch something I didn't want to watch on TV.

Nice location

Do not park a car size vehicle in the driveway. The car will bottom out and it slightly pulled off our bumper. Seemed fine to park car on street with no issues. Neighborhood was nice and seemed safe, no issues for us. The space of the home was plenty for our family. My only complaint was the cleanliness. It looked clean upon arrival but once you really looked around you could see that it has not been properly cleaned in a long time. The windows you could barely see out of. Dishes were dirty that had been put away and counter tops not cleaned upon arrival. Stains on sheets and dirty under beds. Some closet door knobs were falling off. Some lights were out and needed to be replaced. Not the worst rental you could find and to feel safe was the most important for us. Easy access (keyless entry) to checkin was nice and detailed list for checkout.

Beautiful and tranquil home

The Magnolia Cottage is clean, beds are comfy, and a great location for restaurants, stores, etc. Would absolutely stay here again. We were in Mt. Pleasant for a Celebration of Life for a family member, the cottage was such a beautiful and tranquil home on the inside it made the tough time a little easier.
